This is a sequel to 'One Way Trip', so read that first. If 'Life is Strange' was their origin story, 'One Way Trip' was a re-awakening. An introduction to new friends, hidden enemies. Warnings for the future. Early power-ups for what lies ahead. 'Near Light' is the continued adventure of Max & Chloe, picking up where 'One Way Trip' left off. Pricefield, etc.

Starting a few days after the end of Episode 5, Max and Chloe venture forth into their new life together. Much cuddling ensues. Mainly fluff, but with loose story arcs tying things together, and pretensions at character development. Begun long before BTS was released, and so now conflicts with some aspects of the canon.

Five years ago, Chloe watched helplessly as her best friend took a bullet meant for her. In all that time, she has struggled to comprehend that sacrifice. Now an alcoholic living in Las Vegas, Chloe wonders what life might be like if she could go back and change the past. A mysterious figure from her past will give her a chance to find out.

When Max and Chloe discover Rachel Amber's body, Max decides to take a chance and photo hop to a point before Rachel went missing with the intention to save Rachel's life. When Max returns, she finds out that things didn't turn out quite as planned.

Sequel to my novelisation of Life is Strange, so please read that first. Max has a second chance at saving Chloe, but this time she has no intention of using her powers, and only has her knowledge of the week to help her. Totally AU, but I'm (at least initially) sticking to canon events (ie, things will happen as they are supposed to, characters will behave as they're supposed to.

Five years ago, when Chloe's dad died and Max told her she is leaving for Seattle the very next day, grief struck and angry Chloe shut herself from Max. Five years later she is still angry at her, thinking she left her for a good life in another city. Until a phone call brings a grim and dark reality and a broken Max. NO-Power AU with some cannon events integrated.

Max's ruthless future self sidesteps the limitations of her focus power by leaving written letters in the past. Desperate to save both Chloe and Arcadia Bay's populous, she mercilessly manipulates the past in order to save the future. This story follows a past Max, Chloe and Victoria as they struggle to enact the instructions in these letters from tomorrow. A slightly satirical AU.

Max did the "right thing" and accepted Chloe's fate, saving Arcadia Bay from the tornado. After Chloe's funeral she went home to Seattle to deal with her devastating depression, wondering why she still has her time powers. There, she discovers where she went wrong, her true purpose, and goes back seven months to send her younger self on a journey to save both Chloe and Rachel.

Max and Chloe lived together in the shadows for over three hundred years.. side effects. After losing Chloe and all life to sudden global destruction at the hands of an unknown enemy, Max makes an unguided one-way jump back to their beginning to try to change fate. Can she and Chloe rebuild a past only Max remembers, while guiding humanity to a less explody future? Pricefield, etc.

At age thirteen, Max's powers Emerged. Identified as a Special, one of a tiny handful of people with amazing abilities, she is forcibly recruited and studied by the government. Though her life grows ever darker, she clings to one hope: to someday be reunited with her best friend Chloe. [Major AU. FederalAgent!Max. Pricefield. Rated M for sex, violence and naughty words.]

Follows the events in 'Obscura'. I recommend reading that before starting this story. Max is trying to process all the traumatic events that she's endured due to her now lost ability to rewind and travel in time. All while trying to be in relationship with now alive Chloe, rebuild a lost friendship with Victoria, who's rediscovering her own ability and deal with a returning foe.

Pure Pricefield fluff for those who wished for more closure from their ending. Setting: Two girls on a cliff in a storm, watching a Bay have a very bad day.
