Gottawunderforit Twenty-Five Quotes I like. 1-Killing for peace is a lot like screwing for chastity. It isn't. 2-When in doubt, duct tape! 3-If duct tape cant fix it, its not worth it. 4-There is no such thing as overkill, only "Fire!" and "Reload!", though I'm not so sure about that last one, what with all these belt feeders you see these days. 5-When the world ends, I hope it's either by nuclear hellfire or meteor impact, so I have enough forwarning to bring the food and liquor. 6-There's nothing more beautiful than an explosion. The flames dont necessarily have to be red and yellow, either, if you add the right fumes. 7-Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. 8-Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that. 9-The very existence of flamethrowers proves that sometime, somewhere, someone said to themselves, “You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I’m just not close enough to get the job done.” 10-The reason I talk to myself is because I’m the only one whose answers I accept. 11-There's no such thing as an atheist in a foxhole 12-" How long is your 6 inch sub?" 13-I love and treasure individuals as I meet them; I loathe and despise the groups they identify with and belong to. 14- If Crime Fighters fight crime and Fire Fighters fight fire, what do Freedom Fighters fight? 15-The real reason that we can’t have the Ten Commandments in a courthouse: You cannot post “Thou shalt not steal,” “Thou shalt not commit adultery,” and “Thou shalt not lie” in a building full of lawyers, judges, and politicians. It creates a hostile work environment. 16-Cloud nine gets all the publicity, but cloud eight actually is cheaper, less crowded, and has a better view. 17-If a man smiles all the time, he’s probably selling something that doesn’t work. 18-You look like the kinda person to f-ck a man in the ass and not have the common goddamn courtesy to give him a reacharound! 19-They Took our jobs! 20-Capitalism tries for a delicate balance: It attempts to work things out so that everyone gets just enough stuff to keep them from getting violent and trying to take other people’s stuff. 21-In capitalism, man takes advantage of man. Communism is the other way around. 22-I have as much authority as the Pope. I just don’t have as many people who believe it. 23-SOOperMAahn... 24-If something does not fall down, it can always be blown the f-ck up. 25- Everything that can go wrong will go wrong. Gottawunderforit Ravings!-- I am of the firm belief that the UC timeline is the only real Gundam series, with the alternates being the equivalent of Saturday morning cartoons, or a space age "living with the Kardashians". Seriously, only 00 can truly compare in my eyes, and it still doesn't quite manage to reach the level of grit you see in the UC timeline. If you want a space age drama revolving around the struggles of soldiers on the battlefield, having the deaths and efforts of friend and foe shape them while discovering the true limits of humanity and participating in kickass mech suit fights along the way, watch the Gundam UC timeline shows. Or 00, because it's actually quite good. However, if you instead want to watch an animated reality show illustrating the experiences of a bunch of whiny teenagers and outrageous hair, with them trying and failing to live up to the UC's glory and making futile attempts to contemplate the struggles of their people, while they spend maybe a few minutes at best flying around in second rate mobile suits and somehow manage not to kill all that many people (Because killing people is terrible, and I don't want to fight, and war is horrible! Now give me a little time while I cause hundreds of billions of dollars in property damage, probably killing more civilians than military personnel that I'm trying not to kill as I wage a one boy war against a global superpower!), go ahead and watch the alternate timelines(AC for example) Also, Newtypes could kick the crap out of Coordinators any day. Hell, they're smarter too! The most prominent newtypes in the UC shows, almost to a man, design their own Gundams/Mobile suits at some point or another. Coordinators are just...people. Newtypes are considered high priority military assets, can launch psychic attacks, possess limited precognition, are empaths, can communicate with their minds, communicate from beyond the grave, and in the case of the Axis even( and possibly Kamille's duel against schirocco, still not sure about that one though) channel the collective will of humanity to manipulate reality. HA! Newtypes forever! The Citadel Council in Mass Effect is retarded. but then again, this is fact, not thought. There should be a game where the main characters(protagonists and antagonists) from EVERY SINGLE GAME are separated into their respective alignments(good, neutral, evil) and should have a massive war. That would be awesome... GUNDAM Vs. Evangelion/Angel? Eva, because of the AT fields and whatnot. You just cant beat a shield that can be used to turn you into swiss cheese unless you have one as well. I mean, look at Sachiel!( first angel shinji fights) They dropped a nuke on the bastard and it just slowed him down! Unit-1? It took a self destruct from that same sumbitch, who's powered by a magical ball that produces infinite energy, and came out more or less unscathed! The AT Fields warp space-time, and are everything-proof, save for other AT fields or sufficient amounts of energy, like say... an entire country's worth! That and EVA's can just step on them or pick up MS's and throw them or crush them or something. It seems that the prerequisites for almost any anime series are; a)Fanservice, b)soft core porn, c) underage girls bieng more bodily developed than is healthy, d)Everyone ending up in one ackward situation or another, and e) if not the main protagonist, one of his friends/enemies have questionable sexuality or be a generic, androgenous schoolboy. Armored Core/ Front Mission vs Transformers... at a range, AC/FM, at close to mid range, as well as sheer versatility, Transformers. That and the fact that they can suprise the Cores/Wanzers. Wanzers or Armor Cores woulda done the UNSC so much good. it would replace the cyclops easily as well. You know, in any universe; anime, games, so on- There should be a little tablet with Admiral Ackbar's( from Starwars ep. V and VI) face on it that, when you get near a very beautiful man(i.e. looks like an incredibly attractive woman), it blares 'IT'S A TRAP!' at a painfully high volume. Good and evil are subjective. If Hitler, Tojo and Moselini had won World War 2, they would have been able to call the Allies the bad guys, and nobody would have been able to oppose them; in 60 years, we would have been looking at history and saying, " Wow, those Allies were evil sons of bitches, leading bombing runs on the homes of innocents.", rather than saying "Wow, those Axis were evil sons of bitches, leading bombing runs on the homes of innocents.". That goes for every conflict ever. It really depends on what side of the fence you're on. Those folks that killed American soldiers over in the Middle East and Africa? They think they're in the right, and we're the big bad invaders that have come to take their way of life, and we think they're barbarians running around with bomb vests and AK-47's killing babies. There is no black and white. Only gray. I think that at the end of everything, the last Dragonborn(skyrim protagonist, for the less worldly) will become something of a diety. I mean, he's basically an avatar of war, by the end of the game. He fights dragons, dem-excuse me, Daedra, depending on your choices he fights a nation, another dragonborn, dragonpriests, either vampires or vampires hunters, and everything else the world can throw at him, save Akavir(...FOR NOW!). At the very least, the Dovahkiin(dragonborn) is a demigod...actually, he is, being the descendant of Akatosh. Brother/sister of Alduin, maybe? Possibly twin, or just younger... Well, the DB's soul is. Also, I believe the Konahrik Dragonpriest mask was made for the Dragonborn. I'm bringing this up because I believe it deserves mention. A friend of mine told me that he wanted to play Risk with Napoleon Bonaparte, Erwin Rommel, Alexander the Great, and Queen Elizabeth I. Possibly the best way to create a supersoldier would be not to clone someone, or use genetic modding or make child soldiers, but literally build the soldier's DNA 1 protein at a time to make a human being from scratch. I'm talking literally building these guys. This also brings up the question; If the person isn't born or cloned, but created, do human rights apply to them? Because humanity also implies being born in some way, and these folks are all artificial, so... For the record, Fable and Section 8 are unappreciated fandoms. An absolutely FANTASTIC idea is if someone crossed over The Peacekeeper, a game on Newgrounds, with some franchise, like Mass Effect or Halo or something. " Alright, Mr Peacekeeper? We want you to help us get to Saren. He... ah, damnit, I didn't want to do this... He's. TAKING. ALL. OF. OUR. PEACE. We want YOU, to help us find him and defeat him. Can you do that?" " He's... taking... THE PEACE?! GRAARGH" An idea for a story, I hope to see someone write, is a crossover between Elfen Lied and Mass Effect where rather than Humanity taking to the stars, it's the Diclonius. Another idea for a story I hope to read one day; Mass Effect story where you switch the positions of the Turians and Humanity. Or the Rachni and humanity, or even the Protheans and humanity. I hope someone writes this. I'm best with one-shots. I have very little patience for writing long stories or sustained dialogue(it always feels ackward); it's a pain in the ass to flesh out a character and have them grow. I have a new respect for long-term writers who make long stories. Tell me... does... this ever... get really...REALLY...f-cking annoying?! Good. Because it annoys the hell outa me. I can't stand when an author uses triple-dots to an extreme agree. It doesn't just annoy me, it makes me angry. Recently read a story, a crossover. "Naruto: Into the Fox's Den". I had to restrain myself from punching my computer monitor. For the anime Berserk: Guts is a f-cking BRO Watch Episodes 12-14 and you'll know exactly what I mean. gottawunderforit My favorite laws of anime! 11.Law of Inherent Combustability Everything explodes. Everything. First Corollary - Anything that explodes bulges first. Second Corollary - Large cities are the most explosive substances known to human science. Tokyo in particular seems to be the most unstable of these cities, sometimes referred to as "The Matchstick City". 16.Law of Inverse Accuracy The accuracy of a 'Good Guy' when operating any form of fire-arm increases as the difficulty of the shot increases. The accuracy of the 'Bad Guys' when operating fire-arms decreases when the difficulty of the shot decreases. (Also known as the Stormtrooper Effect) Example: A 'Good Guy' in a drunken stupor being held upside down from a moving vehicle will always hit, and several battalions of 'Bad Guys' firing on a 'Good Guy' standing alone in the middle of an open field will always miss. First Corollary - The more 'Bad Guys' there are, the less likely they will hit anyone or do any real damage. Second Corollary - Whenever a 'Good Guy' is faced with insurmountable odds, the 'Bad Guys' line up in neat rows, allowing the hero to take them all out with a single burst of automatic fire and then escape. Third Corollary - Whenever a 'Good Guy' is actually hit by enemy fire, it is in a designated 'Good Guy Area', usually a flesh wound in the shoulder or arm, which restricts the 'Good Guy' from doing anything more strenuous than driving, firing weaponry, using melee weapons, operating heavy machinery, or doing complex martial arts maneuvres.
