What started off as a Bernie/Serena one-shot that sort of spilled itself out on the page after reading a comment on Tumblr. has now started to develop into something more thanks to a review! Set in/after 'Indefensible'. Mild spoilers for this episode if you haven't watched it.

Bernie may have the exterior of a tough army medic, but inside, there's a person fighting to get out and show people the true Major Wolfe. Maybe Serena understands that feeling more than most people would think. Rating is due to mentions/themes of transphobia, homophobia, Depression, suicide and other related subject areas, especially in earlier chapters.

Caroline and Kate, from the very beginning. Sally Wainwright is responsible for creating the characters, I'm just filling in the gaps. From Chapter 15 on, it's morphing a bit into what I would have liked to see happen for C&K.
