He shifted, testing the give of the ropes, fingers scrabbling across the frayed ends, looking for an opening, something – anything to give him an advantage. Because at this point he figured it was pretty safe to say he was on his own. Rick and the others were still stuffed up in that damned train car. It was up to him to get himself out of this mess.

But that didn't mean she still didn't look at herself after a shower, see her body as it was, and wonder if it was all gone. The time of freshness and beauty, all used up and tossed away. This fic is a re-write of Daryl's scenes from Inmates, Still and Alone to show how things would have been different if Carol was with him. Christmas comes to the prison, bringing with it a variety of traditions and some sub-rosa elves who work at making Carol's holiday dreams come true. Caryl fluff.

A small scene I imagined between Daryl and Carol in a boxcar, near a trainstation (because there were leaked pictures of Daryl, and an unknown man walking on train tracks, and another of Carol (yay!), Tyreese, Lizzie, Mika (and I think Judith), also on traintracks!) . Everyone at the prison knows Daryl and Carol are together, except for the couple themselves. Will tragedy finally help them admit how they feel and do something about it?

This is a season two based "what if" story. What if Daryl brought Sophia back alive and well and what if the farm hadn't been overrun? Just something that has been bouncing around in my head for a while. It wont be any more than two chapters. Caryl all the way so if that isn't your thing then move on! Rating will most likely change depending on what people want to read.

Her ears started ringing long before Ed's backhand even connected with the side of her face. It was an instinctual response, learned behavior. Something her body recognized before her brain even registered the hit.

The moments we want to see, insight into moments we have seen, and goes down its own little path in future chapters. Caryl moments, but in story form (not just drabbles and one shots folks) Starts off before Carol and Daryl meet.

Oneshot. Merle is tired of his brother and Carol acting like a couple of kids that can't admit their "feelings", so he decides to do his little brother a favor and intervene. By making Daryl think that he's getting the goods himself. Caryl, of course. (Just a little something I did for fun.)

AU. Carol manages to tear herself away from the violence of her husband but eventually finds herself in the middle of a world gone crazy. Something bad is happening and she believes that her own survival, and the survival of her friends, is balancing on the whims of three brutal and bickering rednecks.

This story explores what might have happened between Carol and Daryl after the end of Season 2. How close did they get? Rated M for sexual content/language.
