Stockholm Syndrome, when a captive begins to feel compassion, care, or any such feeling for their captor despite being held captive. Lima syndrom when the captor feels compassion for their captive. Four years ago Abigail was kidnapped by M.A.R.S. Industries to be the Doctor's assistant, but over time has come to accept her fate and learned to cope and even perhaps befriend those at M.A.R.S Industries, even the mysterious Doctor. But what happens when the captor and the captive seemingly begin to fall in love? Can a bad case of Stockholm and Lima syndromes really breed into real love? And what's more, what happens when Aigail begins to realize the plans of the Industry?

Yes... this is a Rex/OFC fanfiction, and yes I really am trying to actually go into the subject of Stockholm Syndrome and Lima Syndrome, and I am also trying to make a real relationship happen stemming from that, I know most people don't see anything real happenign wwith that since both syndromes are in the psychology section and a lot of people will start arguments with that.

I personally do not believe that Abigail, or any of the OCs, are/is a Mary Sue, and I really don't care if anyone else thinks she is one, if you don't like her all you need to do is leave the fanfiction and pretend you never read it. I don't mind if you don't particularly like how she is, that's fine and dandy, but there is no need to go on a big rant about how my character sucks because she can do all this stuff and she shouldn't because she's just an OC, it's not needed.

Another thing, I don't particularly potray characters a everyone else does, I have certain views on how certain characters will be in certain situations, and if you don't like how I potray them... again, you can simply leave the fanfiction. I warn you all about this a lot because I notice people like to be royally anal about characterization of certain characters or whatever.

My whole belief on characterization of characters, places, my own characters and such is this: This is my story that I am working on, therefor I will portray them how I see fit! I am not even being paid for this! I shouldn't have portray them a certain way to make a bunch of people I don't even know happy. If you want your strictly evil Cobras or what not go watch the actual show, watch the movies, and read the comic books. Don't go onto a fanfiction site and have big expectations on all this bullcrap... I mean it's like 'Die Hard Fan' of G.I. Joe, the 80s 'toon, seeing "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra" and expecting it just like the cartoon. People have different views on how the characters would be... get over it!
