Barbara, raised in Vernal, Utah, managed to graduate in 2002 from Uintah High school graduation. While an Aggie, Katherine supplemented her four-year term as the Honors Program's chief student advisor with work as an America Reads tutor at Adams Elementary, an Honors Fellow for HONR 2000 Scholars Forum, some sort of Rhetoric Associate, together with an Undergraduate Teaching Fellow for the History Department.
