Chloe Price returns to Blackwell Academy to blackmail her former classmate Nathan Prescott for his recent 'moral shortcomings'. Someone from her past however intervenes, and her little world is turned upside down forever. A Chloe centred take on the self sacrifice ending.

William was concerned when Chloe's imaginary friend stuck around well into Middle school. Concerned enough to put her in therapy. Now years of counseling later Chloe has come to terms with the fact her best friend never existed. That is, of course, until Max shows back up. And her week's only going to get stranger from there.

After Chloe's death, Max has little to look forward to, nothing to be happy and excited about. She isn't the only one suffering, however, and, sometimes, having someone to suffer with is better than doing so alone. Cross-posted to ao3
