Shipping:

- Honestly, I don't really romantically ship things all that much, as I find things like strong friendships/sibling/found-family type dynamics a lot more interesting than romance to explore. It could also be that romances seem to be really forced a lot of the time or exist solely as a source of unnecessary (usually stupid) relationship drama. Shipping also seems to be the (very silly) source of some of the most ridiculous arguments I have seen on the internet as well (seriously, shipping wars are the most cringe/eye-roll inducing things).

Now that's not to say that I don't like romance in stories when it's well done- it's just that I rarely get very emotionally invested beyond an "aw, that was sweet" or a "I'm sure glad they got their happy ending" (I am a sucker for happy endings). That being said, I do have a handful of ships I am avidly invested in, which I've listed below. Of course, these are my opinions and YMMV:

1. Okita x Chizuru (Hakuouki)

- OTP. When I played Hakuouki, while Okita's snarky attitude was okay from a character standpoint, I was pretty reluctant to put Chizuru on his route. However, once I did, I got extremely invested in their story/romance. I could write an essay on why I like this ship as much as I do, but I will spare you my rambling. Suffice to say, I found the character development of both characters to be really good, and I like how they reach a mutual understanding/love in the end.

2. Roy x Riza (Fullmetal Alchemist Manga/Brotherhood)

- Their dynamic is great. I love the mutual respect they have for one another, and how despite Riza being of lower military rank than Roy, you can tell they stand on equal ground in regards to each other. Was my OTP for the longest time before OkiChi dethroned them, but they are still a super-close second.

3. Marinette x Adrien (Miraculous Ladybug)

- It's sort of hard for me to pintpoint why I like this ship (or even the show for that matter) so much, but I do. The lovesquare (as ridiculous as it is) makes things interesting, they both have genuine reasons for liking eachother, and its fun watching them both blunder around. It's a kid's show, so it's pure and lighthearted, and fun.

4. f!Robin x Chrom (FE: Awakening)

I like how this ship changes the feeling of the entire game, what with Robin being Lucina's mother and all the justified drama that comes with it. That, and I just think their personalities and skillsets balance each other out.

...and that's pretty much it. There are quite a lot of pairings that I think are nice and "support", but the four above are the only ships I'll actually go out of my way to find fanfics and other fandom content on.

Fruits of Your Labors: Reborn by Runa Rose Dempsey reviews
The Modern Age has no place for the Shinsengumi. In an era that is no longer his but a body that definitely is, Okita Souji is out of his element. But he's not the only one, and he and the other out-of-place captains adapt to this new era that was built upon everything they'd fought for. Life is different and some things don't change, but maybe not all that does change is bad...
