I grew up in the northern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia. At school he grew to become often called the 'good drawer' which partly compensated for all the time being the shortest child in each class. He graduated from the College of WA in 1995 with joint honours in Advantageous Arts and English Literature, and at present works full time as a contract artist and author in Melbourne.
