Sup, people? I'm Alex, but I would prefer it if you call me Draco, Dracohero, or something of that nature, unless you know me personally; I'm thirteen years old.

Aside from the basics, I'm a big fan of Naruto, DB-DBZ (GT is the worst thing in the world), Death Note. Those are probably the only things I'll be writing about for now.

This'll be the story of my screenname and and example of my horrible work that you should take no interest in! Enjoy!

Read Between the Lines:

Clouds of sand roared in the distance. Life was not visible in any direction. I trotted through the endless sands of the Egyptian deserts, along with two of my greatest companions: Prof. Knawt and Dr. Rael. Knawt carelessly got us in this situation by forgetting where he had seen the Tome of the Dragon, a newly discovered monument in Egypt. Despite my scolding and Rael's admittance to defeat, Knawt seemed to not mind being stranded saying, "Oh well...We'll be out of here soon! I'm sure of it!"

Obviously, Knawt was wrong. We had run out of food a day ago, and Rael was, more or less, suicidal. Soon enough, it seemed evident that finding a way out of this desert was impossible. It was now night, and we rested our heads.

Dreams we could not have dreamt on our own soon flooded our heads that night. I will first start with Knawt's dream. Knawt was standing before an Egyptian man dressed in a robe and holding a staff with a dragon at the peak. The man stared at Knawt until he seemed puny compared to him. A hand emerged from the robe, griping on a glass. Knawt looked into the glass. "What do you see?" asked the man in the robe.

"Wha-"

The man interrupted, "What do you SEE?"

"Um...A glass, of course."

"It is yours. Take it and you will survive in the desert..."

"Awesome! A half full glass o' water! Thank you so much!" Knawt awoke in a sudden realization. The glass he had in his dream was in his hand, half-filled with water and all. "I'll go and come back for help! I am a HERO!" he roared as he chugged the water and darted off through the desert. After his departure, Rael began to stir in his sleep. It was the stirring of dreams.

Rael was slumped over, facing his boots and moaning. "Straighten up, fool!" cried the same man, still dressed in a robe. Rael jumped and stood firm and straight, eyeing the man.

"D-Do I...Kn-n-now you, sir?" Rael studdered. The man stood with no change in expression.

"No, you do not. I am the Dragon that awaits you in the Tomb of the Dragon. No more questions. Now..." the man pulled the same glass of water out from his robe, facing Rael.

"How am I supposed to get there with a half-empty glass of water?" Rael groaned.

"Fool!" the man yelled before tapping Rael with his staff, disconnecting the dream. Rael no longer stirred or moaned. Instead, he lay still. Meanwhile, I began to stir, and the previous circumstances developed for the 3rd time in a row.

I stood before the same man. "Excuse me, sir. What is the situation?" I asked. Without a word, the man pulled out the infamous cup of water and held it out to me.

"What do you see?" the man asked again.

I thought for a moment, then spoke, "A glass..."

"Take it, and survive in the desert."

"OK." I replied. The man stood there, still waiting.

"Do you believe this will be enough or not?" the man asked eagerly, now noticing my lips wording numbers and my fingers moving about.

"I'm not sure." I stated.

"You will be, soon enough." The dream ended peacefully, and I awoke with the glass in my hand, still containing water. I took the regained strength to pace through the desert, sipping the water 2-3 times a day for a day until I found Knawt's body lying on the desert sand. I checked his pulse...

"No good..." I mumbled to myself before continuing on for about 2 more days. My destination had been reached; the Tomb of the Dragon towered before me. As I attempted to get in, something shimmered in the sky. The shimmering soon darted towards me and eventually became visible. It was a large lizard with scales of orangey-brown and massive wings. "Kaboom" It landed on the sand without reducing speed causing a cloud of dust around it. I ran into the dust, eager to see the mystical beast. It flapped its wings down, dispersing the dust cloud and giving me a clear view of its magnificence. Words began scrambling in my mind that did not confirm with my own.

"You have passed!" the dragon stated. Its head cocked downwards and I hopped on in delight as we launched into the air and soared through the skies. After only an hour or two, we had reached the United States, where he flew down to my house and lowered his head once more, allowing me to hop off. Before I could thank him for everything, he interrupted me, "Call me if you need me," and rocketed into the clouds and darted away, ending the perillous journey.

After entering the house, saying hello to my family, and washing up, I turned on my computer and claimed Dracohero as my official screenname/nickname/whatever you want.

The End
