Ever since when I was young,

I've always felt that I don't belong

Where I was supposed to be safe and comfortable

Turned out to be torture and unbearable

No, I didn't mean physically

What I meant was mentally and emotionally

Years of depression and loneliness

Gave way to malicious emotions I couldn't suppress

There were times when I almost gave up

I was already used to being called weak, stupid and a complete mishap

There were moments when I tried to take my own life

By hitting, suffocating and trying to hurt myself with a knife

Of course for every story there's a hero

Compared to him everyone else is zero

He gave me warmth, he made me happy, he gave me light

For him I'll do anything, for I love him with all my might

Though I understand their intentions

I still couldn't help my apprehensions

All the while during their teachings, what I felt was fear

Fear for what will happen, what they'd do to me as they near

But I overlooked everything as time moves on

I held onto my hero wishing for infinity and beyond

For to me all that matters is him and I

For him I'll do anything even to willingly die

I've made up my mind a long time ago

Everything I worked for, my studies was for my hero

To fulfill an old promise I held dear to my heart

That I'll never forget even when we're far apart

"I promise with all my heart and soul that when I am finally able, I will be the one to take care of you as you took care of me all me life."
