As a miscast group of strangers meet for the first time, this sets off a series of events affecting each Book Club member and their respective loved ones. Ideas and biases are challenged, new friendships form, new romances bloom. Starring:Light, L, Takada, Misa, Mello, Nate, Ray, Naomi and Matt.

Light is a politician. What could go wrong? It's very long (really 3 parts in one) and as AU as you can get. Mention/content warnings: M/MA, alcohol, drugs, emotional/physical abuse, the list goes on. Every bad thing in the world is in it in a satirical way or to make a point of it, it's hugely offensive, and the rest is about men in suits.

Light and L fall in love during the Yotsuba arc and Light's master plan is derailed when an assassin steals the Death Note. The threat of Kira is dwarfed when Kira's powers seem to have fallen into the hands of a terrorist organization known as Astraea and Light and L are united to find the culprit, but for how long...

At his mother's insistance, Raito makes his father some fudge and brings it to work with him. He didn't take L into account. Some OOC and shounen-ai warning, spoilers up to chapter 55-ish in manga volume 7 .
