![]() Author has written 2 stories for Yu Yu Hakusho, and Misc. Books. Hi, Pegasus.heart here! :D I'm Avril, I'm a girl aged 15 and I live in the Midlands of the UK. I'm currently in Year 11 at school, doing my GCSEs. (My choices are Art, History and Triple Science.) I'm big on science, and I love wildlife. I go to Explorer Scouts (14-18) and help out at Cubs (8-11, I think). I sail (and teach sailing) with my dad and love a good weekend on the narrowboat, too. I'd describe myself as outdoors-y-ish; I'm hardly a tomboy, but I enjoy camping, fires and the like. I'm an avid reader, (understatement of the century) and have been really into reading books and writing my own stories for as long as I can remember, although they're mainly just my own. OKAY! Feel free to skip down to the bottom, away from my pointless ramble. (I have too much free time, as you can probably see by the extent of detail below.) However, please take the time to read my stories - I'd love to see what people think.
FairyTailFanatic - My best mate. Met at a summer school at the end of Year 6. We can be so alike it's scary! And yet, at other times, we're completely different. Absolutely bonkers, and puts up with all the abuse - somehow - I give her. Oh, and we always make each other so hyper it's unbelievable! Amy - Recently moved schools, and we're missing her so much!Known her since Primary, one of my oldest friends. Favourite musicians: Taylor Swift - Voice of an angel, and beautiful to boot - I'm jealous. Favourite lyrics: "And all the best lies, they are told with fingers tied. So cross them tight, won't you promise me tonight?" (Feeling Sorry, Paramore) Favourite quotes: "I accidently vapourise my maths teacher." (Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief, Rick Riordan) Favourite authors: Cathy Cassidy - She's just so down to earth!Probably my first choice if I want to pick up a chicflic. (Although I've read pretty much every one of her books!) Favourite books: Noughts and Crosses - I borrowed it from the library, and loved it! I wholey intend to buy the whole series. Favourite manga/anime: Full Metal Alchemist - I watched the anime, although I'm told it's not as good as the manga. Currently reading the books - borrowing them from my best mate. It's a Stuff of the moment: Tyde -A really obscure band I once saw live. Found their CD out of nowhere, and now I'm hooked! Divine Right - My own story, though I'm afraid it's nowhere on the web. It's been bouncing around in my head for ages now, and I'm finally getting some of it down. Wow. If you read the whole thing. I commend you for that, 'cause this was ridiculously long and I've just rambled for ages. Here's a basic summary of my stories: The Gun - 150 words of suspense and tension. The title says it all. A random story I wrote because I was bored. Not really based on anything, so I wasn't sure if it would be allowed, but I thought I'd throw it out there, see what people thought. Pretty violent - as the name suggests - so I've rated it T. Awakening the Youko - A year after we left the gang, and since the portal was opened people are realising that demons ARE real. Can Kurama keep his identity secret in the changing world? And his old self, the infamous, cold-hearted youko, is threatening to return. I've always liked Kurama, and his dual nature interested me. There are many levels, and big plans for this story, I just hope I can finish it! My first proper fanfic. (Sorry for any mistakes or errors, I'm still getting to know the ropes.) Rated T for language, and because I'm pretty paranoid. Kurama/Jin/OC (Who will be coming into the story soon!) And now we get to the Fanfictions themselves. I'll try and update when I can, but unfortunately I can't make any promises. I just hope you like reading my stories as much as I liked writing them! Enjoy! P.S. Reviews win cookies! Okay! Now the boring bit: None of the books, bands, lyrics or quotes I used in my profile belongs to me. (As much as I might like them to.) I make no claim to any of the stories, or characters my fan-fictions are based on, except for my own characters (OCs). |
