Author has written 2 stories for Yu Yu Hakusho, and Misc. Books.

Hi, Pegasus.heart here! :D
(This has been bugging me for a while, so here comes a re-make of my profile, which I doubtless will give up on halfway through the edit.)
Now, I know it's probably gonna be mainly my best mates on here, but I'll introduce myself anyway:

I'm Avril, I'm a girl aged 15 and I live in the Midlands of the UK. I'm currently in Year 11 at school, doing my GCSEs. (My choices are Art, History and Triple Science.)

I'm big on science, and I love wildlife. I go to Explorer Scouts (14-18) and help out at Cubs (8-11, I think). I sail (and teach sailing) with my dad and love a good weekend on the narrowboat, too. I'd describe myself as outdoors-y-ish; I'm hardly a tomboy, but I enjoy camping, fires and the like.

I'm an avid reader, (understatement of the century) and have been really into reading books and writing my own stories for as long as I can remember, although they're mainly just my own.
My dream job would be to become an author (you never know, maybe I could do it!) which is why you won't find any of my original stories on the internet, because my dream is to get one of them published.
More recently, I got into manga, courtesy of my best mate. What I like about it is the fact that, because the storylines span such a long time, the plot can get really complex and interesting.

OKAY! Feel free to skip down to the bottom, away from my pointless ramble. (I have too much free time, as you can probably see by the extent of detail below.) However, please take the time to read my stories - I'd love to see what people think.

My mates
:

FairyTailFanatic - My best mate. Met at a summer school at the end of Year 6. We can be so alike it's scary! And yet, at other times, we're completely different. Absolutely bonkers, and puts up with all the abuse - somehow - I give her. Oh, and we always make each other so hyper it's unbelievable!
TwinasfanMegzz - Our good old obsessive Megan - and don't you dare deny it! Obsessed with Jonas Brothers, Twilight and Paramore, not to mention converse. Her brand new obsession is Hunger Games. A good hearted rocker chick, who isn't afraid to be individual.
Blastoise100 - A fellow nutter! Although, all my friends are crazy. Not known her as long as some of my other mates, but just as good friends.

Amy - Recently moved schools, and we're missing her so much!Known her since Primary, one of my oldest friends.
Daisy - Dizzy, as we call her, as bubbly, hyper, and something of a rebel.
Jess - Thinks we're all nutters, and she'd be right! Also an avid reader, with a leather, rocker style.
Olivia - Always drawing manga, though we can't get her to read it! Something of a calming presence, most of the time, but when she goes crazy, she goes crazy!
The other Jess - One of my best mates through most of Primary school, but kind of lost touch when we moved up. After the shuffle up, we're in the same class for
Triple. Great to see her again.
Tom - My very own DAISY. (No reference to the Daisy above. Read Dengeki Daisy for this to make sense!) We keep in contact via the internet, and he's always got a
kind word, some advice, or just time for a chat. A friend if ever there was one.
Everyone else! - All the people I wish I could put on here, but can't without taking up a whole page. Thank you for being there for me, and I'll always be there for you!

Favourite musicians:

Taylor Swift - Voice of an angel, and beautiful to boot - I'm jealous.
Paramore - Blame Megan for this one!
Grace Petrie - An undiscovered genius, as far as I'm concerned. (Listening to her as I'm writing this!)
Eleanor McEvoy - Really talented. (She can play loads of instruments!) And so down to earth.
3 Daft Monkeys - Amazing band name, is it not? Lively, upbeat music you want to sing along to, but often can't even manage that!
Queen - An old one, but no doubt a good one.
David Bowie - Ditto.
Bon Jovi - I don't know that many of their songs, but the ones I do, I love.
Pink Floyd - You may be beginning to see a pattern emerging. I get my tastes in music from my dad.
Led Zepplin - I love the story behind their name. Apparently someone told them they'd go down like a led zepplin, and it stuck. How wrong they were!

Favourite lyrics:

"And all the best lies, they are told with fingers tied. So cross them tight, won't you promise me tonight?" (Feeling Sorry, Paramore)
"You got it, you got it, some kind of magic. Hypnotic, hypnotic, you're leaving me breathless." (I caught myself, Paramore)
"It's so easy, to fall overboard! I don't know which way. The tide is turning me, around again, to face what I've become." (These things that I know, Grace Petrie)
"And all is fair in love and war. I'm just not sure which one this is anymore." (Baby Blue, Grace Petrie)
"No man will catch the moon tonight, in the chase before the hounds." (Shake Loose the Borde, Tyde)
"Every sky was you own kind of blue." (Crazier, Taylor Swift)
"Two, slightly distorted, guitars." (Tubular Bells, Mike Oldfield)

Favourite quotes:
I love a good quote!

"I accidently vapourise my maths teacher." (Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief, Rick Riordan)
"Someone get a can-opener, I've got a god in my head!" (Kane Chronicles: The Red Pyramid, Rick Riordan)
"MANGES DES MUFFINS!!!" (Kane Chronicles: The Red Pyramid, Rick Riordan) Might I say, that is THE most awesome battle cry ever.
"I have no memory of climbing the stairs to the roof. I don't even know how to get where I am, which is a problem, since I'm going to have to get down, ideally in a way that doesn't involve dying." (White Cat, Holly Black)
"Flattery will get you everywhere. Except, apparently, off a roof." (White Cat, Holly Black)

Favourite authors:

Cathy Cassidy - She's just so down to earth!Probably my first choice if I want to pick up a chicflic. (Although I've read pretty much every one of her books!)
Jacqueline Wilson - A common one, but a good one. I don't read her work as often as I used to, but when I do, I must say I enjoy it.
Stephenie Meyer - Yep. Another one you've all heard of. Sometimes her writing style doesn't quite match others' but she has some good plots, and there's no way
I can deny that. Actually, I'd say I prefer The Host to her, far more famous, Twilight saga.
Rick Riordan - I love his writing style; how you can be really tense one moment, then laughing your head off, the next. Not quite read all his books, but I plan to.
Micheal Morpurgo - Written some beautiful stories. I've read a lot of his books. He really tugs at the heart-strings. I cried. On several occasions.

Favourite books:
So hard to decide, but I've had a go.

Noughts and Crosses - I borrowed it from the library, and loved it! I wholey intend to buy the whole series.
Forgotten - Not a famous one, but it caught my eye and I loved it. The storyline was really clever and original.
Blood Ties/Blood Ransom - Again something a bit different that I struggled to put down.
Room - What can I say? Sheer empathetic genius. So touching.
What Katy Did - Probably my favourite of the classics. I don't know what it is about it, but I've read it numerous times and always enjoyed it.

Favourite manga/anime:

Full Metal Alchemist - I watched the anime, although I'm told it's not as good as the manga. Currently reading the books - borrowing them from my best mate. It's a
really clever plot, and behind all the Elric antics, there are some really deep messages.
Fairy Tail - A really lively plot in this; it's all go! I particularly love the Edolas arc. I prefered it beforethe timeskip, though some recent chapters have been pretty good.
Sekirei - A brilliant diversity of characters. Basically just a really good manga.

Stuff of the moment:

Tyde -A really obscure band I once saw live. Found their CD out of nowhere, and now I'm hooked!

Divine Right - My own story, though I'm afraid it's nowhere on the web. It's been bouncing around in my head for ages now, and I'm finally getting some of it down.

Wow. If you read the whole thing. I commend you for that, 'cause this was ridiculously long and I've just rambled for ages.
If you can be bothered to read all that, I'm sure you can manage a story or two. Pleeeeeaaaaaaaasssssssseeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, and please review. I love reading what people think of my work.

Here's a basic summary of my stories:

The Gun - 150 words of suspense and tension. The title says it all. A random story I wrote because I was bored. Not really based on anything, so I wasn't sure if it would be allowed, but I thought I'd throw it out there, see what people thought. Pretty violent - as the name suggests - so I've rated it T.

Awakening the Youko - A year after we left the gang, and since the portal was opened people are realising that demons ARE real. Can Kurama keep his identity secret in the changing world? And his old self, the infamous, cold-hearted youko, is threatening to return. I've always liked Kurama, and his dual nature interested me. There are many levels, and big plans for this story, I just hope I can finish it! My first proper fanfic. (Sorry for any mistakes or errors, I'm still getting to know the ropes.) Rated T for language, and because I'm pretty paranoid. Kurama/Jin/OC (Who will be coming into the story soon!)

And now we get to the Fanfictions themselves. I'll try and update when I can, but unfortunately I can't make any promises. I just hope you like reading my stories as much as I liked writing them!

Enjoy!

P.S. Reviews win cookies!

Okay! Now the boring bit:
(So they don't shout at me)

None of the books, bands, lyrics or quotes I used in my profile belongs to me. (As much as I might like them to.)

I make no claim to any of the stories, or characters my fan-fictions are based on, except for my own characters (OCs).
