Set just after Anslo Garrick. Red's been gone two months and Liz tries to cope with accusations in the office and the fact that her marriage is probably a sham as Red deals with his own losses. Emotional baggage leads to entanglement.What does anyone want but a real connection to someone else? First chapter is T to move to M. Warnings to come, in line with my usual style of smut.

This all started with the Barbie doll line. The story evolved on its own. My feeling is Reddington was a good man who has done bad things for complex reasons hence the title. Reddington is really the one who is dancing with the devil. This story takes place right before the Anslo Garrick episodes. What happens in Mexico doesn't stay in Mexico.

Red & Lizzie are on their way to meet an important contact who is the key to landing Number Nine on the Blacklist, a breakdown en route causes them to seek shelter for the night and their relationship changes forever. [Also posted on AO3]

Liz's future happiness was in April's hands, how could she run away and deny Liz a chance for the child she's wanted for so long? Liz needs Red's help as they go undercover in a cult as a married couple to try and save April's life as well as preserve Liz's dream for a child. And maybe she'll discover some truths she's been denying about Red and her feelings for him.
