Thanks to a horrible twist of Fate, Loki was not discovered by Odin after the Battle of Utgard. Growing up on Jotunheim, he lived as an outcast due to his small stature - until unfortunate events led him to other Realms. Familiar lands and people play their parts in this distorted tale. BAMF! Loki is struck, quite literally, with a case of highly justified amnesia, and soon finds himself in the somewhat sporadic care of one Peter Parker, who can't quite figure out why his new friend has the Avengers after his head or why Tony Stark keeps showing up wherever Loki goes- you know, for business and stuff .

Three months after Operation Avengers all is well. Or is it? When Steve and Tony hack into SHIELD to find missing weapons shipments they find more than they bargained for in the form of a prisoner who should, by rights, have been sent to Asgard long ago.

Post-Avengers. Odin, in his infinite wisdom, has decided to go for the poetic justice angle as far as Loki's punishment is concerned. For his attempt to enslave humanity, Loki has his magic and powers bound, and is sent back to Midgard and given over to Tony Stark to be his slave. Tony is none too happy about this arrangement. When Loki escapes his prison & flees to Midgard he realises he quite likes it here and doesn't want to leave. When he hears that marrying someone allows you to stay in the country he decides to marry one of the only people he knows: the Avengers. Eventual Loki/Tony.
