A Bit About Me

Greetings to all who may have stumbled across this profile. My name is Silver, it's a pleasure to meet you. I'm an intermediate writer who has always written as a hobby, however, I have been taking my writing a bit more seriously over the last 6 years or so. I have always enjoyed writing, preferably the fictional genre. My favorite genres (both to read as well as write) include: Horror, Suspense, Romance, Comedy, Action, Science Fiction, and Fantasy.

What You Can Expect To See

I love writing usually in the genres of Fantasy, Romance, and Suspense so you can expect to see much of those. I also love doing poetry and have some poems that I plan on posting. I'm also a Brony as well as a member of several anime fandoms, so if you like ponies and animation, you can expect to read that as well.

Where I Started

I started writing at an early age, I was a serious bookworm who enjoyed reading whenever I got the chance. My writing didn't fully take form however until I joined a writing club in my elementary school. I was there for 2 years before moving on to middle school, where I joined a literature club that I stuck with through all 3 years of junior high. Venturing in to high school I was rather distraught that my high school lacked any kind of literature or writing clubs, but that didn't stop me from spending 4 years in the school's library. The atmosphere helped me think, do school work, and focus on both reading and writing. Close to the end of my high school years, I started taking my writing a bit more seriously and decided to go bold and post my writing online.

This of course, is when I became a brony and a member of the My Little Pony FiM community. My first cracks at online fanfiction for MLP was posted on FimFiction, a renowned site for pony stories. As with most first attempts, it did not bode well for me. Even with my knowledge of language arts and literature over the years in my English classes didn't prepare me for writing a story. But gone is the inexperienced individual. I now have learned quite a lot more than I did back then and I take pride in my work. After shaking off from FimFiction, I found myself wandering over to Amino, a mobile application for various communities. It was here I joined Equestria Amino as well as a few others and where I began writing anew.

Most of my most recent works have been posted on Equestria Amino but as such are pony related. But I want to branch out from just writing ponies, and want to expand the variety that I can offer those who wish to read what I write. So here I am, hoping to expand and familiarize myself with other forms of writing besides just ponies.
