Bellamy shifted on his stump and cleared his throat, looked at her with something searching. It was the drop ship they were talking about, yes, but also what they created around the drop ship. What they built from nothing. That is was the two of them that led it, that they made the rules and they carried the burden of running things. And they missed it.

Octavia needs Clarke to fill in for Raven in the tennis comp. Clarke has no idea how to play so O enlists the help of her brother to teach Clarke the basics. Only problem is Bellamy and Clarke hate each other. (will be 2 chapters)

He remembers his mother telling him a story, a lifetime ago, before Octavia and all the secrets, about a sleeping princess. "Only true love's kiss could wake her," she read.

He wasn't a prince, he was the dragon. He was the one who breathed fire, fought keep his princess safe, guarding her from what she could not fight all by herself. He realized the difference between the prince and dragon was not their status or appearance. The difference was that the prince thought his prize would be the princess, the dragon was simply content knowing she was safe.
