I love reading, almost as much as I do writing. I think what I love most about it is everyones approach is different + each person brings something new to their stories - no two writers are exactly the same, even if its just a slight difference in their style it's there if you look close enough.

My favorite part about reading a great story is how you're instantly transported into this whole new world, maybe you don't see the story exactly as the writer had intended but you see it nonetheless + its stories like that which amaze me. I may never master that WOW factor, but it doesn't mean that I didn't enjoy the journey of writing the story. Even some of the great writers, in my opinion that is, that leave so much to the imagination + are a little short on the written imagery can wow a person. Sure, maybe they didn't describe the scenery as the main character walks down the street, but thats where your own mind fills things in + that can be just as amazing if not more because you yourself have created the props along the way.

I don't expect everyone to like what I write, and it would be odd if they did. To each his/her own + some styles just don't fit certain people the way they do others. I do however always appreciate reviews and/or any constructive criticism. I know I'm low-woman on the totem pole of writers + don't expect to be the next best seller. Ever. But any help or ideas on ways I can improve or expand my writings are always welcome.

From A Distance is my first attempt at fanfic, or any story type writing - since the forced writings of school. I don't know how many more stories I will write, or how fast they will go along because I also have a semi-busy life in the real world. I hope that IF I do attempt another story my writings only get better, but one can only better themselves by trial and error if there is noone to help them along the way.

I write for fun, because I want to and maybe somewhere along the way one or more people may enjoy reading as much as I enjoyed writing.

I have revised From A Distance so it flowed better and wasn't so much back and forth with the timeline. Hopefully its an improvement lol!!
