 Author has written 1 story for Kantai Collection. Hi there! The name is NRP Guimaraes. I’m a naval warfare enthusiast (and if you can’t tell, a big fan of anime) and one of my biggest focus in Fanfic’s will be the “Kantai Collection”. I may eventually branch out for other anime/manga, games, films that I like, but Kancolle is my main thing… I just love it. If you asked me to explain why I like it so much, well I can kind of say this: WW2 era ships are, to me, a dream. I never got to see them (expect in pictures and documentaries) and I have never visited a museum ship (not yet at least) and we are in an age in which my favorite class of vessels (the Battleship’s) are gone… So it actually kind of interesting how the Kantai Collection pays both homage and remembers this old vessels, and at the same time, makes us laugh and cheer along the way… (And yes, if anyone wants to point it out, I will be the first to say it: YES, there is a lot of fan-service out there; YES, convenient that they are the souls of warship’s in "Beautiful Girls". But hey, I’m not complaining (though I don’t particularly go out of my way to find fan-service of my favorite media…) and if you like that, more power to you ;) ) But enough about me explaining why I love military ships (either from WW1, WW2, Cold War and so forth), feel free to message me any reviews and opinions on characters, writing style or suggestions for stories. |
