I'm Beth.
I'm an aspiring journalist and currently studying that subject at uni, though what I'd most like to do is be an author.

I've been writing for just about as long as I can remember and the journalism thing is an extension of that. I read a lot, and I'll at least take a look at pretty much any book I can get my hands on. Because of these two things I am a complete spelling and grammar nut. I won't go on a rant at anyone else if they get things wrong, but I'm obsessed with getting things perfect in my own writing.

So, things I like.
TV Shows - I love Rizzoli & Isles, Doctor Who - both Classic and New, Red Dwarf, Person of Interest, Buffy, Warehouse 13, Grey's Anatomy, NCIS, How I Met Your Mother, Torchwood, Outnumbered, and everything Derren Brown has ever produced. My guilty pleasure is Dancing on Ice, though I watch it because I am in awe of Torvill and Dean. Seriously, my obsession with them is unhealthy and probably a bit strange.

Books - As I said, anything and everything I can get my hands on. Particular favourites include Harry Potter, the Hunger Games, Felidae, most of the Bronte sisters' works, Sherlock Holmes, Dracula, Little Women, Heidi, The Railway Children, To Kill a Mockingbird ... the list goes on forever.

Comedy - Eddie Izzard, Noel Fielding/Julian Barrat/The Mighty Boosh, Tim Minchin, Russell Howard, Sarah Millican and many more.

I've only written NCIS fics so far but I have ideas in other areas ... time will tell.
