Quill knows that he doesn't have to be afraid of storms, meteorological or not. But Rocket? Not so much. Friendship one-shot.

SPOILERS. After defeat of Ronan, Rocket is taking care of Groot. He's worried that his long-time companion and best friend will never come back to him.

It's only expected, after the insane last few days, that Peter's going to end up with nightmares. What's not expected is actually having people on his ship to talk about them with.

And Rocket, for whatever reason, feels compelled to translate and correct him. With Groot helping, of course.

Rocket's ears are soft. Drax wants to pet them. So does everyone else.

Groot starts dancing, freezing whenever Drax looks over. One by one, the other Guardians catch on, playing a game of dance-like-nobody's-watching-but-freeze-when-Drax-is-watching. Drax is confused. Groot, Peter and Gamora are having a great time. Rocket wants nothing to do with any of it. Too bad Groot doesn't give him a choice.

Captain America is used to challenges: Captain America led a top commando team in WWII, Captain America worked closely with Howard Stark, Captain America is now a greatly respected Avenger. Steve Rogers, on the other hand, has to deal with Tony Stark.

Challenge:Trying to move into the Avenger's tower was difficult, mostly because of the rooms. They had seen a mechanical kitchen, a closet- garage, a pollo court, a spa even, but a lab? No. The idea that a lab even existed was preposterous, almost silly. Where else would Stark make all of his inventions-was that a robot? What kind of name is Dummy? A Fire Extinguisher? What?

There was a drumming noise inside his head, that started when Steve was around; it was a banging and a pounding like someone fighting to get out.

Bucky and Steve are struggling to get by; it's hard, especially with Steve's health. Or maybe especially with his stubbornness.

In which Steve gets knocked out and sent to the wonderful world of Oz. Sort of. Mildly (mostly) cracky.

Even The Avengers have their limits, thankfully the Avengers look after their own.

After Bucky falls from the train, Steve searches the ravine for him, determined to save him. Tragic first chapter where Steve doesn't find him, with an extended, hopeful AU second chapter where Steve does find Bucky (and he's alive).

He doesn't know why he's here, standing in the middle of the apartment of the man he had been assigned to kill. Rogers thought he knew him but he was wrong. That still doesn't explain why he ended up in his apartment in the middle of the night. No slash, just bromance!
