Hello. My old profile was just aching for a revamp, because I wrote the last one in about thirteen minutes and it illustrates how very young I was when I was first introduced to fanfiction (by my good friend and first ever beta, Nell). Anyway, to business.

Fics

Aranel's Revenge

Aranel's Revenge will always be my first fic. It was originally deleted by the fanfiction gods after I posted about the sixth chapter... I'm still not really sure why. Anyway, I didn't have much enthusiasm for it after that, plus Seriously Wrong, formerly Marpessa (or so I assume) pointed out everything I was too stupid at the start to notice was wrong, and for that I thank her... but I really don't feel up to redoing the entire thing (some thirteen chapters, and still unfinished) so that Aragorn and Legolas can be in character, or else change the setting and names and make it a FictionPress story. I'm not up to anything nearly as strenuous as that. However, it will probably remain up for some time as a standing memorial to my first real fanfiction experience.

Irresistible

One-shot pure crack fic in which everyone in Middle Earth seems to suddenly want a piece of the Leggy pie. That's about it - although I feel I should mention I wrote this at a young age. It was about three in the morning and after having ingested a lot of sugary goods.

Heroes

Just a poem about one of the many victims of war... in this case, the Trojan War. Sappho33, you asked in a review whether it was about Astyanax and Hector. Well, it can if you want it to be, although to my knowledge Astyanax was still a baby when Hector was slain, and then was thrown from the wall of the city when the Greeks stole inside. Adds another whole layer of morbidity, huh?

Alex vs Helen

Pretty straightforward - I go back in time to Troy to rescue 'my' Paris from the evil clutches of Helen. This was started in about 2004 but I didn't write the ending until mid-2007. It's based somewhere between the movie Troy and the Iliad. Queen Briseis, you reviewed to ask whether I knew that Paris used to love a girl called Ennon. I was under the impression that the -nymph- that Paris loved (and lived on Mount Ida with before the whole Apple of Discord affair) was called Oenone. Also, you said that if I replied you would give me your email address. Well I count this as a reply, so give me your email address so I can hear more about this story that my fic apparently gave you an idea for. Mmkay?

Beyond the 'Berg

I recently watched Titanic for maybe the fifth time and it's always moved me, but this time I decided to write a poem about it. It doesn't really expand on the movie, just a little response to/summary of it.

I have four other fanfics in the works and three fiction stories, so there may be some hope of redemption from the likes of Aranel's Revenge and Irresistible yet!
