Things weren't going well for Sarah. Roughly, four years after she ran the Labyrinth, Sarah returns, but she has to hide from the Goblin King. Peaches were soft and yielding, delicate to the touch and sweet to the palate. Apples, on the other hand, were firm and strong: their skin thick, their flesh meaty. One had to work to eat an apple.

Jareth shows up to laugh at Sarah after a horrendous blind date, prompting them to enter a mutually beneficial agreement. But then again, nothing is as it seems when the Goblin King is involved. HEA for you happy romance lovers. Crafty Jareth. Darkish humor. One shot. This is about as 'sweet' a story as I can write without throwing up.

Later, Jareth would look back on the moment just before her sudden and unexpected arrival to reassure himself that he hadn't made any wishes. Wishes always demand payment, and some wishes have far higher prices than others. Heavy on angst and fantasy, this J/S story has a slow-burn romance subplot, adult themes, and adult content. Several years have passed since Sarah ran the Labyrinth. She thought she was rid of a certain Goblin King. But what will she do when life takes an unexpected turn and Jareth makes her an offer she can't refuse. Will she deny his offer or will she give up everything for someone she loves. I had a dream in which Sarah was seeing Jareth again for the first time in ten years since Labyrinth. It was a lovely dream until the end, which unfortunately seemed to foreshadow David Bowie's death, only two days later. I have also taken inspiration for my story from the Genesis song, 'Follow You Follow Me'. This is my tribute to David Bowie. I do not own the movie or the song.

An adult Sarah finally makes the one wish Jareth has been waiting years to hear. And though they both have things to say, sometimes words are simply unnecessary.
