 Author has written 1 story for Highlander, and Harry Potter. 17 May 2014: I finally put up the first chapter of "The Fanfic the Author Wouldn't Read." Let's see if anyone reads it. I'm an adult female in the 25-40 range who wrote a lot in Junior High and High School but got away from it over the years. The posted story was my NaNoWriMo project in 2012 and an attempt to get me to start writing again. I succeeded at the NaNo, but didn't succeed in continuing writing regularly. Still, I thought I'd see what the reception of it is. Constructive criticism is appreciated, flames will be laughed at. I spent several years in the military folks: I guarantee I've been dressed down and insulted by better. The Fanfic The Author Wouldn't Read This story is about a deaged Immortal and a young witch who meet while shopping in Diagon Alley and proceed to become best friends. Other Harry Potter and Highlander characters will be involved, but only tangentially: the story will be focusing on Diana and Belinda. Book 1 is primarily the pair getting to know each other and trying to find their place in the Wizarding World. The series as a whole is intended to be about family (both the family we choose and the family we're born into) and growing into being your own person. Fair warnings. There will be no pairings unless I bring Belinda and Diana up to fourth or fifth year. No, they probably won't ever be friends with the Golden Trio, but I hope to see them be on civil terms by the end of the war. |
