Author has written 2 stories for Labyrinth. It has been about 15 years since I actively wrote Labyrinth fan fiction. Not that I ever stopped loving Labyrinth, just that life got so busy. Since that time I have started my profession in Veterinary medicine, gotten married and had a little girl. I have spent most of my free time (what little there is) writing original fantasy stories in recent years. Yet I still find myself, every few months, glancing back at those I created about Labyrinth so long ago. However, sometimes there is something magical in returning to the daydream land of my youth. I was 16 when I started writing in the Labyrinth forums... which seems a lifetime ago. In so many years passing I lost my email, password and account information. My stories, still on this site, are locked to me now just due to passage of time and memories. These stories are still my little lovelies and so very dear to me. Reading them is like reliving childhood over and over: A Magical Destiny, Forgotten Past, Nevermore, Snowblind... But those were completed, finished and beautiful chapters in my life. Wandering through the internet the other day, glancing through information on Labyrinth (still my favorite movie of all TIME!) I happened back to this site and discovered something I had completely forgotten... a lost story. And Darkness fell... It has been since 2008 that I updated a story that was originally started in 2003 or so. I doubt anyone is reading it still or even interested, but I was taken aback at having forgotten it and left it to a sad archive of unfinished tales. So I decided, as I was getting into bed the other night, I would rejoin and attempt to finish the one Labyrinth fic I had left orphaned. I don't know if it will be possible, but we will see. So, FYI, "And Darkness Fell" is going to be republished here, under my new account. Wish i could put notification on the other account, but c'est la vie. I am also reposting A Magical Destiny in chapter format, as it appears unfinished on my old account. Thanks for reading. |
