Author has written 9 stories for Touhou Project, and Puella Magi Madoka Magica/魔法少女まどか★マギカ. Name: No. Anstyways, enough with the jokes. I've decided that, since I'm going to continue doing this for the foreseeable future, I ought to write a profile thing. I do a lot of things, which means that there isn't much time dedicated to any single one of them- At least, there wasn't until I decided that sleep was something I could honestly probably do with less of. I also tend to rotate between my hobbies, so I may well drop off the face of the earth every once and a while. However, I am not one to leave things half-finished, unless there are extenuating circumstances(Cough-Cough everything I tried to do on youtube Cough-Cough). Once I start posting a story on this site, I will finish it. That does mean I often don't begin posting until I'm around half finished with the story, meaning longer wait times between stories. However, once I have posted the first chapter of a story, I will do my best to post a new chapter every week. I will also try to remember, from now on, to post whatever story I am currently working on here on my profile. Onward to the stuff I like to write. While I am a fan of many series, I generally just write about Touhou Project. If I'm writing about something else, expect it to be a crossover with Touhou. I'm not entirely sure why, but I find it far easier to write for Touhou characters. Speaking of characters, I will use OCs if the story calls for it. I don't believe that the only good characters are canon characters, although I also don't believe that said canon characters' lives should revolve around my OC. Anyway, away from touchy subjects, I prefer to write short chapters, generally only being about 1,000 words long each. Now, the shameless begging for reviews begins! So yeah, the whole reason I started doing this is because I want to become better at every aspect of story writing, from dialogue to character creation to overall plot. And while the amount of follows/favorites a story gets does indicate the overall quality of that story, I would much appreciate any in depth opinions you have about any aspect of any of my stories. Honestly, I don't even care if it's nit-picky, as long as you tell me exactly what you disliked about my story, it will help me to become a better writer. Along the same lines, just saying "this story sucks/rocks" doesn't really help me at all. If you really liked it, tell me what things you thought I did really well, and if you didn't, then feel free to rip my story to shreds to tell me why. In fact, the absolute most helpful reviews are the ones that are both negative and constructive I.E. "This story is poorly written because... and ways that you might be able to avoid this or fix it are..." Of course, I don't expect everyone, or even more than a few, to take the time out of their day to go that in depth, but even if you just point out one thing, it will help me. Anyways, that's done. Story Presently Being Written: A Summoner's Fantasy: A summoner from outside Gensokyo, with the dream of becoming the greatest summoner that has ever lived, enters Gensokyo in the hopes of making a contract with the 'Forbidden Summon'. Ideas in my Brainspace: Three World Powers. The Genso-Lunar War. The war won by Yukari Yakumo a thousand years ago, and the beginnings of Gensokyo's place as a major world power. Now, Gensokyo, along with Germany, under the Nazis, and the United States, is one of the three major world powers. AU, in case you couldn't tell. Martin Stewart's Gensokyo Adventure: Yukari gaps a teenage guy into Gensokyo, gives him a giant sword, and tells him he's the chosen one. The canon characters then proceed to get the sucker to do all their work for them, and make fun of how stupid he is behind his back. Intended to be a humorous deconstruction of Gappy Stu fics. Fear the Unknown "Be glad, Louise, for you summoned the Nue of legend! For you summoned the curse-bringer, the omen of death, the most ancient of terrors! Be glad, child of Valliere, for you will be remembered throughout what little history this world has left! Be glad, for you summoned me." (Crossover between Familiar of Zero and Touhou Project.) The Great News Paper A human from the village is getting rather upset at how dishonest the Tengu papers are, and so decides to write her own. Of course, she can't do so in the village, and the Kappa won't help, so she turns to someone else for the paper and printing she'll need.Final Notes:A) I wouldn't feel right asking for reviews if I didn't offer to do them myself. Do note, however, that I will review your story as I wish for mine to be reviewed. I will jump on anything and everything that bothers me about it, and praise all the things that I like about it. If you don't want me to say anything negative about your story, don't ask me to review it. If I come across a story on my own and review it, however, I will generally be nicer. B) Thanks for coming, and have a good day. | |||||||
