Established in 1993, Zak formed his initial surfboard at thirteen in a lean-to down the facet of his parent’s residence in Viewbank, and provided surfboard repairs to mates and regional surf retailers throughout his teenage a long time. He opened his 1st retailer in Thornbury in 1999 and packed 86 surfboards, a wall of equipment, a bunch of skateboards and wetsuits into a 6×3 metre shop in which clients had to stroll all-around single-file to view his array.
