When they are children, Caleb Dume meets Hera while on a mission after the Liberation of Ryloth. Approximately fifteen years later, they meet again by accident while Hera and her team are picking up a shipment. As Caleb, now Kanan Jarrus, unwittingly gets involved in the crew's next mission, he sees something in one of them, something that could be dangerous.

Days in the Wilderness series. Kanan hasn't trusted anyone since That Day, but if he and Hera are going to fight the Empire he has to overcome his fears. When Kanan ruins one of Hera's plan and almost brings them both to disaster he has to make a choice to trust again. Kanan/Hera. Set before Star Wars: Rebels. One-shot. Canon compliant.

Hera knows her new crew member has a secret. Kanan doesn't know how to tell Hera the story of his past, or whether he should say anything at all. Running has been his coping mechanism, until now. This story also details how the Ghost crew got together. Rated T just to be sure.
