A longer, partly AU coda to "Prayers from the Heart." I've always thought that Jack's situation and circumstances would and should have been dealt with as a lot more dire based on what happened to him. Jack-whump but, as my handle says, my favorite characters *almost* always survive my whump. :) Please read and review!

Two months ago, Jack returned to Hope Valley on a break from the troubles in the Northern Territories ready to marry her. Now, the troubles are over and Jack returns just before Christmas, ready for his life with Elizabeth to begin.

Important note: This is NOT actually a When Calls the Heart story, but it is my own version of a third installment of The Perfect Bride movies on Hallmark, starring our very own Pascale Hutton and Kavan Smith, so I figured there might be some interested Hearties. Hi everyone, I think this could work as the Christmas special premiering Season 6 of When Calls the Heart. It was great therapy for me to write it, and so I hope it is uplifting for you as well.
