My Love of DQMW

Hello, Maritza here. I am a huge Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman Fan. I only came to discovered the show over three years ago and was immediately hooked having gone all out buying all the DVD seasons sets and movies. Then I discovered the fanfics and began to read, read, read and read encouraging me to write again after years of none writing. Now I write DQ fanfics. Mostly light hearted stuff of M&S, the other characters do make their appearances. One current posted fic, is however on Hank. He's my favorite bad guy I love to hate. My other two favorites for their spiritual battles are, Cloud Dancing and The Reverend in dealing with their right and wrong with their people. Hopefully the fic about them will be out soon. I've written so many DQ fics -- I just haven't post them all yet. My favorite recurring theme is the love and romance between M&S and poking at fun at some of the characters here and there.

More of My Others Fics

So far I've only posted a few DQMW fics. I have about five I'm currently editing. Not sure which one will be next to be posted, though I'm pushing to either post the continuation of The Horseback Ride or one surrounding that whole other woman eppy. I was never happy how they suddenly got back together as though nothing happened. Michaela was seriously hurt and Sully was left off the hook. I'm also writing a continuation on the Paid In Full one to reveal the mystery woman. I also have a crazy satire one of all of them in modern times. Another on, Michaela causing a huge mistake. Another on how M&S come to meet slightly alter here and there. Oh, and one on how well the marriage is working. That one might be a little to hot to handle. LOL! No, not raunchy. I guess if you are interested you're welcome to PM me, to encourage me on hurrying up to finish editing my other stories. Or leave me feed back on my current stories so that I will know how much you enjoyed them or how I may improve on them. So long as you are respectful, I'm great with critique.

A Little As To Who I Am

A little about myself. I am a mother of two married over 20 years, and have worked as a teacher, substitute, counselor, case worker, predominately with kids of all ages and now I want to really explore my writing skills to someday actually publish a book or two. LOL! I'm an avid reader, Pride and Prejudice is my old time favorite book and I especially love the A&E mini series version. A die hard fan of old classic films, family flicks, and romantic comedies, but especially musicals. I love Rent, Grease, Hairspray, Beauty and the Beast and so on. LOL! I also love to volunteer at a women center that empowers woman, with helping with arts and craft, or taking a group of woman to Albany to legister their congressman, and I participate in their numerous activities as well.

I guess that is all for now. I do hope you can drop by read some of my fics and let me know what you think. I'm willing to chat on why I wrote my stories the way I did and on how I can improve. Maybe push me to post my other fics as well. I'm still pretty hesitant about posting. I'm just not to confidence with my grammar mainly. So editing is painstaking.
