This fan fiction Episode VIII and IX was written Feb. 2016. I intentionally avoided reading any fan theories as I was writing it, so I hope this is fresh and unpredictable for most readers. I hope you enjoy.

This one-shot is simply a deeper look into Kylo Ren's mindset during the two scenes in the movie where he interrogates Rey (or, more precisely, what I imagine he was thinking and feeling as he tried to get the map to Skywalker out of her head).

Kylo is injured after his battle with Rey and gets no sympathy from anyone, not even the voice in his head. When he learns that certain vital facts have been hidden from him he begins to question his place in the First Order.

After a brutal attack, John and Sherlock are both injured. John recovers but Sherlock is forever changed. What will Sherlock do when the one thing he could always rely on, his mind, is not longer there?

Mrs. Hudson is attacked. Sherlock is a suspect. As he sits in the cell, paralyzed with fear and regret, he remembers how Mrs. Hudson helped him through the horrors of his childhood. As he struggles through the agony of her injuries, Sherlock must reconcile a past that he couldn't have survived without the landlady who was more of a mother than his own.

It's nearing Christmas and John has a surprise visitor, one that leads to heartache and loss. Sherlock does what he does best. Set approximately ten months after Mary Morstan Watson's death.

Set just nine months after moving into 221b, a difficult case stymies the consulting detective and his blogger. Cue an engraved invitation to spend an autumn weekend in the country, which takes John and Sherlock to West Sussex, for some surprising revelations, deductions and introductions. Mostly John's POV. Stands alone, but feeds into all of my other stories. COMPLETE

'I know you for real,' John told Sherlock once. In this story, set between the first and second seasons, John comes by some of that hard-won knowledge. With a monster storm taking aim at England and a murderer on the loose, John and Sherlock pursue the killer into the sewers of London. What they find there is more terrifying than any human threat and could cost them their lives.

Sherlock is a barista and known for speaking to his customers bluntly and judging them by their orders, something John finds fascinating. AU
