This story starts after the midseason finale (season 5). The group has to cope with the death of Beth. They also need to consider where to go now. Carol and Daryl are my favorites and therefore they are the main protagonists. This is going to be a Caryl fic :-) Just let me know, what you think and if I should continue. Daryl learns that not every touch is a bad touch, and Carol starts to get over a few inhibitions of her own.

"Axel," Glenn started, "You've been following Carol around like a shadow. All I'm saying is that I wouldn't annoy the extremely protective guy with a crossbow permanently attached to his arm." Glenn and Carl take it upon themselves to have a friendly discussion with Axel. This story will be told from the POV of several characters, but with eventual Carol/Daryl.

He thought, almost lovingly, of his own bunk back at the prison, with the piles of random blankets they'd accumulated, in runs and in searching through the grounds. How much warmer it was. But he'd never spent a night in his bunk with Carol being so short and pissed off right across from him. - takes place between Season 3-4, while still in the prison.

Set a few years after Daryl, having escaped the prison with baby Judith, reunites with Carol and makes a life for all three of them. It's Christmas and the season brings with it a wee bit of angst, a lot of fluffy feels and of course, a good helping of Caryl smut.

Christmas comes to the prison, bringing with it a variety of traditions and some sub-rosa elves who work at making Carol's holiday dreams come true. Caryl fluff.

AU Season 4: As a health crisis for one of the original Atlanta survivors sends Daryl and Carol into danger on a mission of mercy, the addition of the Woodbury refugees to the Prison group forces them to re-examine their special connection. Very Caryl, some fluff, flashbacks to early days at the prison, and some sweet smut in later chapters for those who have been asking for it!
