Hey all, Auri here! So a little bit about me, I love to read, obvious seeing as I'm on fanfiction. My favorite book series is Harry Potter, I grew up with it and love it and Severus to pieces. My favorite animal would have to be cats, in the big cat family it would be the snow leopard. My favorite color is purple, followed closely by blue and some shades of pink and green (depending on the shade it's kind of a three-way tie). I try to get along with everyone, as long as you are nice to me (or at least civil with me), I will be nice to you. I believe in God and Jesus. There, if that's an issue by all means go on about your day and it will not bother me. I will not however, try to "shove my religion down your throat". I believe everyone has the right to believe, or not believe what they wish. Just please, don't try to change my mind on my beliefs and we'll get along just fine! :D Anyways, introductions aside, One day I hope to be brave enough to start posting my own stories, both for my enjoyment and to develop my writing skills.

Update- 1/11/14: I have recently gotten back in to the Yu-Gi-Oh series and oh man. Between YGO and HP my insanity is now complete. So to counter my previous statement "love it and Severus to pieces" that should now say something along the lines of "Yami and Severus now are my two fandom loves." ."

Update 5/9/14: So uh, I finally saw Rise of the Guardians about a week or so back. ._. I need to readjust my fandom love list again. It should look something like (Yami, Severus, and Jack Frost are my fandom loves) Hmmm, maybe I should just make a list...

Update 12/30/14: Wow, cut that close to the new year eh? Anyways, I have started working on a fic of my own. I have no idea when I will start posting it though. It will probably be a slow process, and there's the fact I'd really like to have multiple chapters ready before I post something. I can tell you now, I WILL need a beta at some point. If you couldn't tell by my profile, ( if you couldn't, that means by some miracle I've managed to keep any grammatical errors out myself...unlikely) I am not the best with grammar or spelling. Shoot me a message if you would be interested in that, if no one is I'll do my best to keep the errors to a minimum. Remember I said this was partially for fun, and partially to improve my writing skills.

A little story about God's protection. Copy and paste it onto your profile if you truly believe in God:

A teenage girl about seventeen named Diane had gone to visit some friends one evening and time passed quickly as each shared their various experiences of the past year. She ended up staying longer than planned, and had to walk home alone. She wasn't afraid because it was a small town and she lived only a few blocks away.

As she walked along under the tall elm trees, Diane asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger. When she reached the alley, which was a short cut to her house, she decided to take it. However, halfway down the alley she noticed a man standing at the end as though he were waiting for her. She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for God's protection. Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped around her, she felt as though someone was walking with her. When she reached the end of the alley, she walked right past the man and arrived home safely.

The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had been raped in the same alley just twenty minutes after she had been there. Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and the fact that it could have been her, she began to weep. Thanking the Lord for her safety and to help this young woman, she decided to go to the police station. She felt she could recognize the man, so she told them her story. The police asked her if she would be willing to look at a lineup to see if she could identify him. She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the alley the night before. When the man was told he had been identified, he immediately broke down and confessed. The officer thanked Diane for her bravery and asked if there was anything they could do for her. She asked if they would ask the man one question. Diane was curious as to why he had not attacked her. When the policeman asked him, he answered, "Because she wasn't alone. She had two tall men walking on each side of her." Amazingly, whether you believe or not, you're never alone.
