Link never did wake up after 100 years. He had died a couple of days after they put him in the Shrine of Resurrection. Luckily, the universe sent another broken, blond haired, blue eyed swordsman in his place.

They lost the Traveler, their powers, the city, and were scattered across and beyond. Even in their darkest hour, they still fought on through the harsh trials.
