6/18/19: Still alive and barely functional! Crawling out of the abyss that is Gaia Online, trying to pull myself away from the decadence and decay that is role-play. Hopefully I'll get around to posting new works here soon.

The Other Remnants SUMMARY: (Set during Advent Children) Shinra has fallen, and in its wake are three very dangerous remnants out to find an evasive hero and a myth. One’s past is not always easily forgotten. Can the sister of a once glorified hero and the other girl somehow tragically involved hope to survive this ominous ‘reunion’, or will they be caught up in misery just trying to survive? A/N 6/18/19: I remember scrolling thru the romance tags for this fandom and being completely mystified that anyone would find these things attractive enough to bang. So I wrote this at first as a parody, and then it just got super symbolic. Probably the one I enjoyed writing the most, check it out if you're also entranced by the human psyche!

SIDE NOTES:

As of somewhere around 9/8/2014, I came to the decision to revise the ever loving hell out of "The Other Remnants". Why, you ask? I NEVER NOTICED HOW MUCH I GOT WRONG!

I typed that story with only the most basic knowledge of Final Fantasy, mainly being the movie Advent Children. I also bought and began playing the actual game over this past summer, and now I cringe whenever I glance at my fanfic. So, I'm currently working on those revisions and updating it with a newer writing style, to help it both make actual sense and flow better. Thank you all who read it and put up with it! I promise I will try to actually do the game justice this time. Thanks guys!

Update 6/18/19

Wow, that's a very ambitious statement from my younger self. I am pleased to inform those interested that I have not made an ounce of progress in revising that story! And I probably won't get around to it, to be honest. Time and experience has made it hard to glance back at that one, which is frustratingly a play-by-play of the movie with random quips thrown in. I'm leaving it up only because it shows how much my writing has changed over the years, and that's important enough for me to suffer the cringe.

It's been some time since I've posted anything to this website, as I mostly do role-plays on Gaia now. I miss the freedom of crafting my own stories, so I'll probably resurface with something new eventually.
