Hello Everyone!

My name is Garrett, and I'm just starting out on this website. I've been reading stuff on here for awhile, ranging from mostly from Minecraft to CoD Zombies fanfiction, but I haven't really joined the community on any level. Well, now I'm planning on doing that, and if you're going to actually want to get to know me, then this is a good place to start.

As I just said, I'm named Garrett, and I like games. That's not really the main part of my life, though; I'm much more into sports and music than I am games, but I am into some of them. I enjoy playing Battlefield, Call of Duty, Minecraft, Madden, Assassin's Creed, and Grand Theft Auto. Call of Duty is what I'm writing about right now, and here's why.

A lot of people use this site to get friends, and I guess it would be cool to meet some cool people. But someday, I really want to be a successful writer; it seems that every month, I have a new series that I'll write the first couple chapters for, be convinced that someday it will be on prime time/a blockbuster, and then decide it's crap and move on to the next idea. Being in eighth grade, I'm limited to a beginners Creative Writing class, so I need a source for people to really criticize my work and help me get better. This is a good place to start, I figure, as long as I can get into the community.

In other topics, I like Chicago sports teams, especially the Bears and Blackhawks. It's hard to be a White Sox fan right now, but I'm still loyal, and I also follow the Bulls sometimes. For college, I'm obsessed with Illinois and Wisconsin, two B1G schools that my parents went to. I mostly follow those in basketball because I don't really care for the NBA but love college basketball, but I also follow their football programs avidly as well.

In music, I take after my mom and dad. My favorite three bands are Rush, Megadeth, and Iron Maiden, but my music choice isn't limited to that. Here's a long list of what I listen to, other than those: Justin Timberlake, Avenged Sevenfold, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Paramore, Maroon 5, Foo Fighters, Soundgarden, Justin Timberlake, Scorpions, Deep Purple, AC/DC, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Justin Timberlake, Thin Lizzy, Van Halen, and 'N Sync.

Did I mention Justin Timberlake?!

I like a lot of books, being a writer. Particularly, that is Divergent, the Eleventh Plague, Hunger Games, Heroes of Olympus, Tom Clancy novels, and a whole lot of other stuff. My favorite movie is Inception because it is without question the best movie ever, but I also enjoy the Dark Knight movies, the Avengers movies, and basically anything else that JJ Abrams/Christopher Nolan has been involved with.

With TV, I have a set thing of shows that I watch all week. Behold: MBlacklist/Almost Human, Tuesday=Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Wednesday=Revolution, Thursday=Big Bang Theory, Friday is free, Saturday=SNL, and Sunday=Family Guy. Thank God for Hulu, which I also use to catch up on these shows as well as everyone's favorite, South Park.

I hope that you know a little about me, and once my story has actually made my headway on this site, then I'll put a little bit about that in here. If you're interested, it's going to be called Ghosts:Chapter Seven, and it is the sequel to the Call of Duty: Ghosts campaign. I've tried to put a lot of thought into it, so if it goes over well, then hurrah! Until next time, though, I leave you with an inspirational quote that if you recognize, you're awesome.
