First off, I would like to say that it is highly improbable that I will ever, ever post any fanfiction. Ever. But you never know, so watch out.

You might be wondering why I created a ff.net account if I don't post fanfiction- this is intended to be an account devoted purely to fic recommendations. For the most part I read fanfiction in only two fandoms, Harry Potter and Labyrinth. I have specific likes and dislikes in each fandom, which I will mention now:

Harry Potter
-I love the pairing Draco/Ginny. If the story doesn't have romantic elements between those two characters, I will most likely not bother reading it. Unless it's Harry/Draco, and extremely good writing.
-I HATE the pairing Draco/Hermione. I would actually rather cut off my own fingers than click on a link to any D/Hr fanfiction, and that is that.
-I have issues with what I consider to be too much angst in stories, so you will most likely not see too many angst-ridden or non-happy ending fics in my recommendations.

Labyrinth
-I believe that, basically, THE reason for writing Labrinth fanfiction is to get Sarah and Jareth together. Any other purposes are entirely secondary and of little to no value. This means, no Sarah/Jareth=no recommendation from me.
-I don't do well with original characters that have had a 'past' with Jareth. But, if a fanfiction is well-written and pulls the OC off okay, I can sometimes make exceptions.

There will be many more recommendations to come, I'm sure.

Additional Notes
~Anise updates far more often on Schnoogle, so her ff.net account doesn't have some of her newer stories. The link to her author page on Schnoogle is , but the Yahoo!group she's a part of (Pillar of Fire) is actually far and away better in terms of getting new chapters and previews of upcoming stories.

~A fantastic story that is archived at Fiction Alley is Indarae's Sunday, Bloody Sunday. The link to her author page is

~Another pretty good story is Carole's A Sirius Change, also on Schnoogle. It's the sequel to A Sirius Affair, but reading that is almost completely unnessecary, unless you actually care about the Sirius part of it. Then you should read A Sirius Affair, but skim for highlights and plot points.

~If you're only going to read one fanfiction, then, by all means, read Cassandra Claire's Draco Trilogy at . It is considered in some (most) circles to be THE quintessential non-slash (hopefully) Harry Potter fanfiction. And it will teach you just about everything you need to know about HP fandom cliches.

~KL Morgan writes some of the best Labyrinth fanfic EVAH. Go read it now. Go. Shoo.

That is pretty much all you (or anyone else) needs to know. On to the fanfiction!
