Burdened with the loss of his parents, Soul sets out on a journey to overcome his past. Through his travels, Soul learns to face his weaknesses and take on new challenges through tough opponents and the Sinnoh League trial. On the way he meets new people, and tackles the threat of an evil organization known as Syndicate, unaware of their grand scheme to decimate the Sinnoh Region.
