Fantasy has always been my favorite hobby - escaping into a world which, sadly, can never exist, except in imagination. Writing stories is a nice way of painting at least a fraction of that world in someone else's mind. I like portraying some of these worlds to others using writing as a tool of expressing myself. Imagination is a wonderful thing to possess, and I am perpetually found day-dreaming by my friends. It is nice to escape, for however short a time span, into a world so different from reality..it provides a nice escape from the monotony of everyday life... I have started this addiction a little late, I must accept, in lieu of the fact that I am already 16, but I don't believe that imagination has an age boundary! Please review, even flames are welcomed, as long as there is at least some constructive criticism in it...(On a different note, hate mails DEFINITELY don't count as "constructive criticism," so attempts at that will simply be deleted!) Pleaseignore my formal language, I am so used to it that I invariably fnd it impossible to slip into slang, unless I am provoked. Feel free to email me on anything under the sun, I enjoy odd emails with freaky subjects! Favorite animes: I am inclined to like any anime which revolves around a fantasy world, includes numerous interesting scenarios, characters and settings, and doesnot delve into excessive stupidity (After all, there is a limit for stupidity too!) My personal favorites include: - Card Captor Sakura - Samurai X (Rurouni Kenshin) - Get Backers - Inuyasha - Witch Hunter Robin -Bleach -Midori Days -Hack//: Sign Favorite Movies: - The Mummy and The Mummy Returns - LOTR (Woe to you if you ask me what it means!) - Spirited Away (Technically anime/movie...) - Any other action/fantasy movie! Favorite Books/Authors: Jane Austen - Bronte Sisters - LOTR -HP - His Dark Materials (Any claasic and fantasy novels) Favorite Manga: - Tsubasa River Chronicles (This list is pitifully thin...can someone please suggest any mangas?) Random Musings Name: Just call me...Kohana (Which in japanese means small flower, very close to my real name) Age:16 Odd titbits: I am Asian (won't tell you which part because then some people get preconceived notions about personality) Hobbies: Reading Writing stories Watching fantasy/action movies and anime - Chatting to people from all over the world making new friends -Learning Japanese -Trying to find themaximum number of ways in which chocolate can be used in food! Au Revoir and hope you like my stories! |
