Hearth tilted his head. Blitzen? he thought. The dwarf seemed to expect the mental question, as he pointed to himself with his free hand and then quickly traced 'Blitzen' into Hearth's hand again. Hearth managed a small smirk. At least the dwarf knew how to somewhat sign I'm Blitzen.

Hearth thought he was the one teaching Blitz ASL, but every now and then, Blitz threw out a word that Hearth didn't know. Blitz teaches him his own language in words Hearth had no equivalent for in his...sheltered life. Dance, sash, kindness, and more things Hearth didn't even know existed. And he is very happy to learn.

Hearth's story wasn't exactly a pretty one- growing up with people who never saw him as normal, and he believed them. But then his new friends came along, people he actually fit in with.
