The matron always tells him he's a foundling. He's not sure what that means, exactly. All the other orphans lost their parents to war, famine or illness. In which Kakashi goes back in time to the day of Obito's death, the future Obito's ghost somehow followed him back there (which he doesn't mind because they're on good terms now), no one suspects a thing, except maybe that he's somehow gone (even more) insane in the last twelve hours since they last saw him, and everything is going perfectly canon until it isn't.

Forcefully gasping for air and trying to resist Kakashi's iron grip that was simultaneously choking him and suspending him from the tree, Sasuke opened his eyes weakly, only to see Kakashi's right arm coiled back and hovering over his chest where his heart was, sparks of raw chakra flying off it. Sakumo has no idea where all of these habits of Kakashi's are coming from. In which five-year-old Kakashi forgets the existence of his left eye, loses his ability to lie believably, and is a little too knowledgeable about the Birds and Bees. Still, no matter what oddities went on in Kakashi's head, one thing is certain – the boy will always love his father, through thick and thin.

"Jounin shinobi and master of the Woodstyle or not, nearly a week of suppressing the massive Nine-Tails chakra was starting to take its toll." While helping Kakashi train Naruto, Yamato learns a thing or two about friendship and his own limits.

Kakashi was one of the best Ninja in Konoha, so when the Hokage became worried about traitors in the ANBU, it made perfect sense to assign him the mission to remove them. However the Hokage's second request was another story. After all, what did he know about being a parent?

Written in response to chapter 692 because I'm so done with Sasuke and I think Kakashi is, too. 100% crack don't take this seriously I didn't even proof-read it it's just Kakashi throwing a tantrum and swearing a lot and calling his students names. **Whoops, forgot about the title rule, my bad! I can't believe I went through high school and the college application process only to die and come back as a freaking NINJA! After helplessly watching the murder of his son by the hands of the civilians he had sworn to protect, Minato Namikaze is broken. When the god of Death offers the chance to walk among the living once more, he accepts. Only catch is, he has to live in the body of his son, Naruto Uzumaki. About an Anbu-team that doesn't really do anything besides bugging each other, completing missions behind the scenes, and getting injured and having to stay in the hospital. There's nothing more to it than that. Kakashi, Genma, Raido and Tenzou - The Hokage is still wondering why he likes them.

Naruto pesters Sasuke while he's training delaying him getting home. He's so late, in fact, that Itachi simply doesn't have time to wait for him to arrive and discover the massacre and has to go looking for him. But once he finds them how is he really supposed to get Sasuke back home and stick to his script without making the whole thing just seem really weird?
