Hey there, people. Been reading fanfics on this site since frosh year in high school. Now if I could actually kick myself and update or start a new fanfic already - well, let's just say I lack motivation...and that it's too "Mendosuke" as Shikamaru from Naruto would put it.

Anyways, I should start with the formalities: I am a graduate from San Jose State University (SPARTANS! AH-OOH!) with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Now I'm putting things together for my applications to graduate school for Occupational Therapy. I am currently living in California - in Silicon Valley somewhere. Specific details about location is classified. XD

Favorites: Golden Sun (all 3 games), Fire Emblem series (though i have yet to play all of them, Final Fantasy series(only played FFTA and 1-4), Harry Potter, Legend of Zelda series, Naruto, Gundam Seed/Destiny, Rurouni Kenshin (whoo hooo!! have all 28 volumes, all episodes, including the OVA's), Bleach, Love Hina, Negima, Eragon, Lord of the Rings, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children...the list is quite long so I'm not gonna bother to list everything.

Recommendations:

Cape no. 7 - awesome and heartwarming movie about Taiwan, it's culture and it's people. Love the soundtrack!

Two Steps from Hell - epic music!

Hans Zimmer - epic music!

Dislikes: potheads (to an extent only), people who annoy the hell out of others just for the heck of it, people who jump to conclusions too soon, people who misjudge others, war - especially those caused my religious purposes (no offense to those who serve, as I have buddies and know people who have served or are still serving and the fact that I've volunteered at a Veteran's Hospital) because War is truly Hell and there is nothing glorious about the killing of soldiers who are essentially doing what they volunteered to do (regardless of what side they're on)...and that's bout it methinks...oh, and yaoi (will tolerate yuri though). Don't have that much dislikes as much as pet peeves - but that's another story.

Pet Peeves: Being interrupted while I'm in the middle of something that requires my immediate attention, people who think I'm Chinese (no offense to those who are) and voicing it, politics - it's messy, it's a headache, it's basically bullying on a "professional" level.

Favorite pairings:
Golden Sun: Mudshipping(Isaac/Mia), Flameshipping(Garet/Jenna), Windshipping(Ivan/Sheba), Felix/any female character that actually suits him, Picard/same story as Felix.

Fire Emblem: Ike/Elincia,...er still sorting out which pairings I like, but this is my main one

Zelda series: the most obvious one - Link/Zelda, others I don't really have one

Harry Potter: Harry/Fleur, Harry/Gabrielle, Harry/FemaleBlaise, Harry/OFC, Harry/Rare Pairing

Naruto: Naruto/FemKyuubi, Naruto/Kurenai, Naruto/FemaleBijuu, Naruto/Yugito, Naruto/Anko, Naruto/Mei (5th Mizikage), Naruto/OFC, Naruto/rare pairings (ie: Inuzuka Hana, etc.), Naruto/any xover girls, Naruto/harem

Rurouni Kenshin: Kenshin/Kaoru, Yahiko/Tsubame, Sanosuke/Megumi, Misao/Aoshi...er...that's it methinks, don't really have a fav pairings for the others.

Gundam Seed/Destiny: Kira/Lacus, Athrun/Cagalli

Least Favorite pairings:
not going to categorize them, it'll take too long so here's the list:
Valeshipping, Steamingshipping, Alex/Mia, Alex/Jenna, any Yaoi suff, Link/Ruto (she scares me), Ganondorf/Zelda (barf)...er the list could be longer, but I'm lazy.

PS: for all you Golden Sun, Final Fantasy, or Naruto fans, I've got some pics drawn, but I'm rather reluctant to post them online - well, actually, I'm not sure how. If anyone's good at this stuff, plz email me with the subject - posting art on the web (or something along that line) so I can put them online (they're mostly black and white, i'm considering coloring them, using either computer, or color pencils - once I get a decent set that is. If anyone knows a good way for me to post them online, lemme know.

Rants about fan-fiction:

I get really frustrated when people don't bother to proofread their works. There are many times where I've seen good stories go bad simply because people are either using the wrong word or too many grammar mistakes. Also if they are unable to proofread their works, then at least have a beta reader reviewing the story/chapter. It really gets on my nerves, especially now days where just about every fanfic I read always seem to have some sort of grammatical error. Seriously, if you can't spell, use a fucking dictionary; or if it's an homonym, use the right one!! Seriously, it should be basic grammar by now (unless you've had some seriously crappy teachers that didn't teach proper English).

Pet Peeves on FanFics: Mpreg (Biologically, Anatomically, and Physiologically impossible) while I don't have anything against Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, or Transgender people - as I have friends, classmates, roommates, professors, and coworkers who fall in these categories - I just dislike it when people start writing about things which are impossible and kinda wish people kept those details to themselves; Yaoi - refer to what I said about Mpreg, sans the (biological, anatomical, physiological part) and I wish there was a filter for this stuff at least.
