You can check out my favorite authors and stories below (I recommend them all), but there are also many fantastic stories on the net that aren't listed on this site. So, for those of you looking for other wonderful Harry Potter fan fiction, I highly recommend the following stories:

Turning Back Around by Pumpkin Carver ( ) Michelleywelley and I are in total agreement - this story rocks. Ron, Harry, and Ginny are aurors until tragedy strikes and Ron is killed. Three years later he turns up again as a prisoner of war, and the dark side has a plan in store that involves them all. The story is subtle, filled with plot twists, and at times a little difficult to understand, but the payoff is worth it. Reads like a mystery novel. There's plenty of Ron/Hermione and some dancing around with Harry and Ginny. I can't recommend this one enough.

Hermione Granger and the Beginning of the End; Hermione Granger and the Time of Troubles by Ann Margaret (). Both of these stories are well worth the read.Time of Troubles is a 6th year fic, and Beginning of the End is a 7th year fic. So much happens that I couldn't do these stories justice, but there's a lot of action and romance. You won't be sorry you read them.

Half A Man by Austen ()
Ron suffers an injury at the end of the war and has to learn to live with a disability. R/H fluff as well as a creative, well written story about rebuilding a life after everything changes. Don't worry, there's a happy ending.

The New Threat by tragicort () This is a work in progress, but if the rest of the story is as good as the first three chapters, it's going to be fantastic. Ron shields Hermione from the Avada Kadavra and casts a spell she created, but it was only partially successful. Now he lives with constant pain and at times of stress, his heart stops beating. If this isn't enough, Ron's a seer and has visions of a new, powerful figure on the rise to take Voldemort's place. Read the first chapter and you'll be as hooked as I am.

Blood of My Heart by Isha () Now complete. Voldemort is looking for a weapon to defeat Harry, and it may be closer than they all think. As Harry, Ginny, Ron, and Hermione work to figure out the clues that will lead them to the weapon before the Dark Lord, they also have to deal with their own relationships.

The Devil and the Dragon by LavenderBrown () The sequel to The Final Reckoning. This story takes place 3 1/2 years after the events in TFR, and before the epilogue. I've been waiting to see this on fanfiction dot net, but so far it's only been on Checkmated. If you loved TFR and The Book of Morgan Le Fey, don't miss this one.

A Hero's Return by BlueRain () In every war, there are casulties. Ron Weasley was one of those casulties in the war against Voldemort, but what if he didn't die? Imprisoned and battered, but his spirit intact, Ron is found alive.Whenhe sees his family again for the first time in years, he discovers that it is a little larger than when he left.
