Hi kids. I've signed up here mostly so that I'm not reviewing anonymously; I'm just not the sort to go writing fiction. My fandom, as you can probably see from the handle, is Tolkien, and I'm something of a stickler for canon; the fact that I'm a regular at Deleterius and hold great respect for the PPC might tell you something. I try my best to be nice and unflamey in my reviews, but nobody's perfect, and messing with my favorite characters (read: Maedhros and the rest of the House of Finwe, in that order) or events will put me in a rather uncharitable mood, as will language-mangling (Elvish or English).
