I've read a lot of really good kidnapping/hostage situation fics recently, and they have inspired me to take kind of a new angle on the situation. My story is beginning with the rescue.

When Jay and Erin find an abandoned three year old boy, while on a bust, they never expect him to end up changing the way they view one another and family.

Two years ago, Erin's ex abused her and left. Now, something goes horribly wrong on a case and she finds herself fighting for her life - again. The only difference between now and two years ago? She's a Chicago Police Officer and she has a certain partner who keeps fighting for her - with her - regardless of all the harm they face. I do not own Chicago P.D. Revised chs 18 & 19.

Erin and Jay are secretly together, but are beginning to distance slightly because Erin hasn't been feeling well and she contends that she's fine. But when a big curve ball is thrown their way, will they stick together? Rated T for teenager level material.

A one-shot based on a Tumblr prompt. A linstead story based on the things that went down in 1x12. Basically a re-written version of Erin having a knife to her throat and the ending of 1x12.

One night, during the car ride home, Erin and Kelly break into another intense fight about a recurring issue. Erin storms out of the car at a gas station and enters a store with Kelly in the car. When he hears three loud gun shots, he rushes inside to see his worst fear. Now he waits for Erin in the hospital to see when or if she will wake up from a potentially fatal wound.
