Why did you create an account on the site?

Aside from the mere answer statement of 'I was bored teenager with nothing else better to do than to scribble down stuff that was in my brain', I made one because I felt like I could practice an inner talent for writing. After writing a bunch of Yu-Gi-Oh fan fictions, I thought I was a total loser. Then when I found the site I was happy there there were other people that did stuff like this. Hence, why I have a username on here now.

How did you get into fan fiction?

The same time I made an account I started reading a whole bunch of things. After reading some humor fan fictions, I got addicted...seeing as I was on the computer everyday looking forward to seeing if I got reviews or not felt to be an obsession.

What was the first fan fiction story you read? Did you like it? Do you still like it?

Whoa dang, it's been a while for THAT one. I can't remember the name of the very first one, but it was VERY popular and had a LOT of chapters. But the most recent one I can think of was Innocent Blood by keikoutou. I loved it the minute I started reading. I'd have to re-read it sometime...

What made you want to write fan fiction?

I blame it on JK Rowling.

What was the first fan fiction that you wrote? What was it about? How do you feel about it?

Uh...we're not going there. Let's just say it was all in script. It was funny...but it was in script...so it got blocked.

Do you have any odd preferences for when reading fan fiction? Such as, font type or size and width?

As long as it was readable and not squished together, then I'm not picky.

Does the amount of reviews affect the way you write?

I guess it does get my blood flowing here and there. Before I got really really stoked when I got more than one. It makes me feel like I'm not the only one that wants to know how I'm going to end a fic or even if I finish a fic at all.

Do reviews determine how well-written a story is?

No, but it does help make a writer improve. Before I didn't notice small habits I had in my writing until someone pointed it out. When it was pointed out I tried harder not to do it again. So reviews help people to learn from their mistakes and take criticism well.

Do you like to use a beta reader? And/or do you like to beta read?

Before? No. Now? Yes. Sometimes I feel like it's a hassle since I'm a very impatient person and I want to get the chapter posted as soon as I'm done with it. But in the end at least I know I can rest easy that some of the stupid mistakes were taken care of. I would like to beta read, but my mind is weird. If it sees a mistake, it corrects it in my brain...but my brain doesn't tell me to correct it...so it's basically a lost cause.

What's your favorite genre in fan fiction? If it's romance, what are your favorite pairings?

Humor and Romance. I like it when it's combined the most. I'm not a very serious person unless I really want to be. Pairings? Who needs em? Anyone can be with anyone, there's no fixed person to anyone really. So why say pairings?

Any quirks you do while reading and/or writing fan fiction?

Reading, I have to be comfy, I'd lay back on my bed with my laptop next to me or be sprawled on the couch/floor. Writing I have to be in a proper siting position if possible, Otherwise I get really really agitated and lazy. I need something to munch on sometimes, but I always always ALWAYS need a drink of some sort nearby. And when I get inspiration I pace...a lot...I'm a very fidgety person.

Are the people around you aware that you write fan fiction? Do they support/read it?

People who know that I'm bi know that I write fan fiction. Most really don't give a damn what I do. People that don't know I'm bi don't know I write fan fiction. So...Really...it's a dun deal for me.

Has reading and/or writing fan fiction really changed your life?

I would say it has. I mean, I learned more from fan fiction than I ever could learn from books. Basically because it has soul of people across the globe. Not watered down and constantly edited and manipulated to be 'okay' in the world's eyes.

Do you have any plans to step out of fan fiction and become a real writer?

I've debated on making myself a real writer...hell, maybe a creative writing teacher or something of that sort. But after a while and a couple whaps of the reality check wand, I think I'm going to stick with an IT degree. But writing will forever be one of my hobbies.

I will someday make a machine that will record dreams into writing so lazy asses like me don't have to sort through our brains to remember them.
