I am a sixteen year old girl trying to figure out how to go through life without hurting anybody. I found out that that is impossible the hard way. Don't ask why or how, just read. Some experiences are too real to keep inside. Sometimes I have to write it all out. So pay attention, and enjoy.

Passages From Me

I have always had a hard time articulating what I want to say. When I was younger, the doctors said I would always be behind the other kids in my class. Be slower in reading, writing, etc. Be slower in learning. Yet here I am, proving them wrong. I have piles of books on the floor and my bookshelves are filled completely. Sometimes I think that they might burst, actually. I love to write. Always have and always will. I have notebooks filled with little stories and I have fan fiction. I plan to be a writer. Hopefully, I will succeed.

Writing is my key of communicating to the world. I don't have to speak what I want to hear. I don't have to take anything back by apologizing. I can write it down, whether it be good or bad. Then, if I don't like it, I can rip it up. I can lock it in the little box I call my head, and no one else would know. No one would no but me. Writing is my way of letting go. I tend to bottle everything up inside me, and then I burst. Pretty much like you shake an unopened soda bottle and then open it and it sprays everywhere. Writing is my way of communication.

Friends make me happy. Friends make me feel safe. Keep your friends close, because you never know when you might need them.

Here is one thing that everyone should know. Trust has to be earned. It's not a right. It's a privilege.

You never realize what you have, until you've lost it. You never realize what will happen, until it happens to you. You never realize who a person is, until you meet them. Whether they be fake or real, you need to be careful. Hand out your trust carefully, because you never know when it will be broken.

Sometimes life is a fairy tale, you just have to find it.

I'm the girl that hasn't been asked out at all.

I'm the girl who isn't a people person but I am when it comes to friends.

I'm also the girl they call "best friend."
