Hello! Thank you for visiting my profile page! Most of my writing will deal with reading and interpreting Sacred Scripture using an ancient Christian practice known as Lectio Divina. This basically involves taking any passage of Scripture, and meditating on it by asking the Holy Spirit to show you what He wants you to see in that passage, and how to apply it to your daily life. I kind of post whenever I want. So, I could post twice a week, or not do anything for a couple of months. These are my meditations, so if you read the passages for yourself and find something different then that's great for you! I am 17 years old and am discerning a vocation to the priesthood as a Capuchin Friar. I have no standing or authority in the Holy Catholic Church, but I have been taking religion classes for a good portion of my life. I chose the name "Sinner" because that is what we all are, sinners. While we shouldn't think about our sins too much, we have to be aware of them. We need to remember that without God's grace and Christ's victory on the Cross, we are nothing.

God bless,

Sinner

Meditation on Matthew 11:28-30: The Gentle Ministry of Christ
A short meditation on finding comfort in Christ and in His Word during trying times. This is also a gentle reminder to seek God's help when He seems far away. Disclaimer: I am 18 years old and am Roman Catholic. Although I will be entering the seminary in late August, the meditations I publish on this website to not reflect anyones views but my own.

On the Holy Incarnation and Mary's Fiat
The Incarnation is one of the central events of Catholic teaching. That God became man to save us from Hell is incredible. I also give my viewpoint on the Holy Incarnation as well as Mary's "fiat". I am 17 and part of the laity. In other words, I have no authority in the Church. This is simply my viewpoint on this aspect of Catholic teaching.

Reflections on the Magnificat reviews
The Magnificat, or the "Canticle of Mary" is chanted by many Catholics every day in the evening as part of the Liturgy of the Hours. The Magnificat is more than a hymn of praise to the Father. It can reveal so much to us about God. Please, take the time to review and be nice. Rated T just to be safe.

Meditations on Chapter 15 of John's Gospel reviews
This is a meditation on Chapter 15 of John's Gospel, which is the "Vine and the Vine Grower" allegory, and "The World's Hatred". It's more like an essay or a sermon (if you can really call it that as I'm not a priest). I have no standing in the Church and my only training is the years of religious education I've received school. This is written from a Catholic's perspective.

Thoughts on the Mercy Shown by Jesus to the Adulterous Woman reviews
My thoughts on the episode of John's Gospel where Jesus forgives the adulterous woman. Note that this is from a Catholic perspective. I also have no authority in the Church. I am 17 years old and part of the laity. These are just my observations.
