A/U: Kumiko is a waitress who has no wishes, no ambitions, and no discernible goals. After meeting a rich businesswoman who takes her breath away, Kumiko's life changes. Her mundane existence finally has an inkling of purpose. However, secrets and betrayals become a part of Kumiko's daily life as she involves herself with Kousaka Reina.

Kumiko was once a genius child, graduating college at the early age of 15. Now 16, well turning 16, she is given an invitation by her college friend, Taki, to teach at Kitauji, where she meets someone who holds a great passion for music, the spark Kumiko lost. Will this set off on a musical adventure and possible romance for the young teacher? Can she face the music?

Kumiko is a practical person and Reina gives her a proposal that she just can't refuse. However, both of them wonder if their relationship stems from something more than just practicality.
