Glynda was just a few seconds too late, and Ruby was horribly injured following a particularly nasty blast from Roman Torchwick. However, a strange creature has saved her life, and in exchange Ruby has found herself in something of a deal with the devil.

Beacon has fallen and the aftermath of the brutal attack has left scars on everyone. For Blake, it's only brought up old wounds and fears she's already been running from. Here is an idea I had for team RWBY's reunion that I never got around to writing while Volume 5 was airing. A quick little two shot focused mostly on Blake.

He knew he was a hero. He knew he was a prince. He wanted peace and and alone time, but he knew it had to change. With a sickly mother, and going through school, will he ever overcome his inner fears of himself? "No Videl... This is not your fight. It never was, nor his." Then he took off into the sky.

Aang died in the Airbender massacre allowing the avatar to be reborn, but failure echoed in his wake. The avatars following Aang could not bring down the Fire Nation's plot for domination, and now the fate of the world rests on the shoulders of the last avatar before the line is broken by the Airbenders' extinction. In his heart, Zuko has given up on his sister and imprisoned her underground to live out her days. Azula refuses to be beaten by her younger brother, she was always one step ahead of him. Watch out Zuko, Azula has one more trick in her sleeve. 5 years later.
